「I've stayed here a couple of times now and always found the hotel clean and the staff very helpful. As a cricket fan I found the pitch side view very special. 」

「There were faeces in the toilet, and the bowl was disgustingly filthy. The duvet cover and the spoons were dirty. Because the housekeepers had finished their shift, the receptionist had to clean the toilet bowl and change the duvet. I've stayed at this hotel before in the same room and it was spotless, hence my return there. I definitely won't be staying there again.」

「I didn't have breakfast. However, whilst the room was tidy the pillows were like concrete blocks. Also the bathroom had damp and fungus because they dont have an extractor fan. The room also are in need of decoration. I paid £89 and i wouldnt say it was worth £30. Disappointed. Whilst the lady on reception was polite and courteous i wont be staying there again. I work in Leeds a few times a year so i will put this on my 'do not use' list of properties.」

「Spacious however I did not see one member of staff after I checked in aid before i checked out. My towels were not changed once over my 3 night stay 」

「So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella...

「Great traditional pub in the centre of town, Bedrooms look to have been recently refurbished and were very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. 」

「All staff professional, courteous and helpful. All facilities as you would expect and food was excellent.」

「Property was clean however staff could have been more helpful. They wouldn’t let our group of 5 sit together at breakfast although there was an available table because they didn’t want to reset it for lunch. 」

「It feel very dated around parts of the hotel and the bed was rather noisy even when making slight adjustments in my sleep. Rooms were ridiculously hot when we arrived so slept with the fan on (in February) 」

「Staff friendly and nice atmosphere. Room very comfortable and clean . Hotel very intersting with lots of history. Restaurant on the expensive side . 」

「Generally good for the price. The room was comfortable but the bed was too soft for us.」
