“The staff is friendly, professional, helpful. With a cozy bar area, a beautiful patio overlooking the lake, and clean, comfortable rooms, we couldn’t have had a better stay. This was a girls’ weekend but I’d like to come back with my husband. The food was excellent- the breakfast buffet was delicious and more than adequate. “Staff was amazing, and communication during and after booking was excellent. The building (built in 1830) was excellently maintained, and furnishings/decor struck the perfect balance between period and modern. The included breakfast was cooked and served in the upstairs dining room (former ballroom/meeting room). Parking was adequate and on site.
