The Space:

Clubhouse Retreat is a charming one-level cabin located in Hedgesville, West Virginia, nestled within The Woods Resort and set right on the turn of the golf course. The cabin features an open-concept layout that seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas, making it ideal for relaxed gatherings or quiet getaways. A classic brick fireplace anchors the living space, adding a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Large windows offer peaceful views of the fairways, blending indoor comfort with the beauty of the outdoors. With its easy single-level design and scenic golf course setting, Clubhouse Retreat is a relaxing escape in a tranquil, natural environment.

- Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with two 18-hole golf courses (with low green fees), extra sets of golf clubs for guest use, spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. They're considered the best courses in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!



During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute drive from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:



- Indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub

- Large whirlpool

- Tennis and pickleball courts

- Racquetball court

- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball

- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines

- Sleepy Creek Spa (Inside Rec Center)

The Sports Center is members-only, but we’ve set aside complimentary guest passes just for you! Passes will be available at the property—check the house manual for details on where to find them. If you need more during your stay, simply reach out and we’ll be happy to assist.



Our driveway allows up to 3 cars only, and we are happy to welcome your canine companion into our home (only 1 dog, no other pets, sorry). And lastly, we do not allow gatherings, parties, events, etc., as we must abide by HOA rules and regulations.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

Bring your furry friends! We love hosting families and well-behaved dogs! For allergy and maintenance reasons, we’re unfortunately unable to host cats.
