Excellent in style and a lovely room for a very good price and spotlessly clean Check in worked easy using the code sent that morning to open a key locker as reception is unmanned Only a few minutes walk from the old town center and close to the castle Best low price hotel we've been in for years !

Great location! Very friendly mostly German speaking staff. Breakfast is good for 17.5Euro/person, checkout easy. Has small elevator (but 3 then 2 stairs at entry for our stroller). Would be nice to have a communal hangout space, coffee machine (at lobby or room), facecloths provided, squeegee for the water then gets on bathroom floor from shower, later reception.

Great but better if they had AC

It was great and staff was friendly and amazing. But the lack of AC was uncomfortable for us even at this time of the year.

The hotel was completely unstaffed, but they had a keycard safe system that worked very well. The room was very clean and peaceful, and the area is very pleasant. However, there were no facilities for hot drinks.

In general, this is a lovely hotel. Room was spotless and everything was fine. The main issue, is that there is no air con - there was a decent fan in the room, which worked well, but it was still 28C in the room and as the hotel is close to a busy road, having the window open is difficult. Other than that, it was very good value for money compared to some we stayed in on the same holiday.

The room was fine and comfortable, but the checkin was a mess. At 5pm, there was no one at reception, and we had to get our key from a lockbox outside. Not a big deal, but completely impersonal.

Nobody at the reception, closed door, paper on the door said that I had recieved an e-mail with a code, which I did not. So I need to call, feld like she was in a rush, couldn’t hear her properly. I also selected the hotel for the parking lot. But that was not available and I needed to go to a public one (and needed to pay of course)So check in did not make me happy at all. Room was good, also walking distance to the center

There was no one at the property to greet us. The email sent was entirely in German. No indication of where to park, breakfast, or how to get a key. I would never recommend this pace to anyone. If not for a neighboring hotel helping to translate the email, we would have spent the night on the street. Non staffed reception does not work in a university town. Get this property off your site!!@

Das Hotel an sich ist recht nett, sauber und liegt ganz hervorragend. Aber das Einzelzimmer für immerhin über 120 € hatte buchstäblich in etwa die Größe einer Besenkammer. So etwas geht einfach nicht. Eine Alternative konnte nicht angeboten werden. Sehr schade.

Gute Lage, keine Reception ab Nachmittag

Hotel soweit gut, Lage und Ausstattung super. Jedoch ab Nachmittags kein Mensch mehr an der Reception und eine Mail für den Schlüsselsafe haben wir auch nicht bekommen. Unter der Telefon Nr. Welche man arufen konnte, wurde uns nur gesagt, das da jemand sein sollte wir sollen klingeln. War dann auch nicht so, sind dann erst mal in die Stadt. Abends dann das gleiche nochmals. Der Herr am Telefon hatte dann aber doch die Safe Codes, mit denen wir an die Zimmerkaryen kamen. Frühstück leider bei uns rcht nicht gut. Die Brötchen und das bereits aufgeschnittene Brot waren staubtrocken und für 17.90 pro Person darf das doch nicht passieren. Wäre das nicht gewesen, wäre das Frühstück sonst gut gewesen.

Zentral in der Altstadt

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist schön eingerichtet. Vom Hotel aus kann man sehr gut die Altstadt erkunden.
