Perfect for a relaxing break from the rat race, this condo, located in the heart of the Bavarian-themed town of Helen, features a full kitchen, fireplace, and a furnished patio overlooking the Chattahoochee.

For a small nightly fee, one family dog can come along and walk with you to almost everything in town, including restaurants, gift shops, and exciting events including the annual Oktoberfest. Slip into your hiking boots and hit the trails of Unicoi State Park, just three miles north, or indulge in some summertime tubing on the Chattahoochee River.

Not only does this home boast an incredible riverside location, up to six guests will enjoy a variety of amenities including a wood-burning fireplace for those chilly winter nights, free WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen, and an outdoor dining area with views of the river.

If you're traveling with a larger group, there are also two other adjacent condos available (502 and 702) that can be rented to accommodate parties of up to 16.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

OK, we knew there was no washer or dryer, we can deal with that, but 1 set of towels for 5 days? Couldn't get internet to connect to our phones so we called and they had us reboot the router. This didn't work and now the bedroom TV wouldn't connect even with the saved password. Called again and we were told the tech guys were working on it. A day later we called again and they said someone would come out to fix it. Never happened. The front door has a jimmied lock so it doesn't always catch when closing the door, have to turn the door knob to make sure it is shut before locking it. Kitchen florescent lights don't turn on. Refrigerator light is not working. Grab handles to showers are missing or coming out of the fixture. Not enough silverware in the drawer. You really need a local handyman to provide reliable followup. I just didn't see any local support and when making phone calls I felt we got excuses and false promises. I'm sorry, I rarely make poor reviews but we stayed at this property a year ago up on the 2nd floor and didn't have these issues. Overall, the building is older so we don't expect perfection but everything should be in working order.

Perfect location

Wonderful place to stay. Walking distance to everything. Tubing within walking distance and mountain roller coaster across the road and town not far from walking distance. Plenty of places to eat. Place was super clean. Nice to have three full baths. We took a small dog which was nice. Accommodations were great for a long weekend. Only negative we found was there was no washer and dryer but could be because they're replacing them. Not sure. I would recommend this place to my family and friends

Great location

The condo is in a great location! It was so easy to walk to all of the nearby attractions. It was very clean at check-in. It was very cold during our stay and the heat seemed to struggle a bit. However, the fire place was great for both ambience and warmth. It might be helpful to have runners or rugs for the colder months. The property manager and local team were fantastic in their response when the cold temps caused issues with pipes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. The unit was in a high foot traffic area close to stairs and entrance causing too much noise at night. Overall good value for cost.

Great place

The only thing I would suggest would be to get a tall barstool table for outside and tall chairs, so you can enjoy the view. We cannot enjoy the view because of the balcony.

Location was perfect (walking distance to everything). Clean and pretty much well maintained. Never found the dumpster to throw away our trash when we left. Would have been nice to have a working washer & dryer but not a deal breaker.

Perfect getaway

Our stay was perfect it was off the river and in the heart of Helen. Back patio you can watch the river and out the front door you can walk to all the restaurants and stores.

Close to everything

The floors where dirty and there was no cleaning products ,no broom no mop, the floor had a greasy sheen on it. The dishwasher would not close to start . The dryer doesn’t work so don’t wash anything because you will be looking for somewhere to dry your stuff . No batteries in any remote so you can’t watch tv . Good thing helen is a very entertaining town other wise you would be spending more money to have the luxury to watch tv. But after all that said the location is great close to everything

Great place to stay in Helen. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and activities. Property was clean and well furnished. They provided everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Good location but....

The place was very dusty. Especially on top of curtains/rods, baseboards and behind appliances. My family has allergies and I ended up with a sinus infection. No reserved parking spots so the front ones were full when we arrived. Also, outdated appliances. I think a hotel stay would be cleaner and cheaper.

Family of 4 fit great

Location: Perfect for walking around the town, never needed our vehicle. The river is right outside, but not so easily accessible. (Listing doesn't say it will.) Everyone obeyed the quiet hours. Condition: The condo was clean. The floors need work and finishing touches needed on bathrooms (especially the king bedroom shower ceiling). Queen bed is uncomfortable, but seems like the foam was under the mattress. (Weird set-up switch?) Cleaniless: It was clean, but there are no cleaning supplies such as a broom. We spent a lot of time in the river and there were not nearly enough rugs to catch the riverbed we tracked back up easily. Caution: the dryer is missing the lint trap which is a fire Hazzard and there is a sharp piece of metal that ripped a few of our items. Note: We arrived and there was a small mountain of trash right outside the door. This was awful! I contacted customer service and it was removed in three trips the next day. We would use this location again. [If stairs, steps, something were added to walk down into the river would be perfect.]

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s showing some age but overall it was what we needed. Ceiling fan and TV in king bedroom need replaced. Those are minor things though. We loved the location and walked everywhere we went. We were able to play in the river and the playground next door. We would certainly stay here again next Helen trip.

Once we got there the water was off due to the city changing out the meters. After they fixed the issue within an hour of checking in we were set and enjoyed the time there. Definitely worth a trip.

Fun few days

We enjoyed the trip to Helen. It was the first time for all of us. The weather wasn’t great but we shopped, ate , gem mined and road around in a golf cart. The views were beautiful and the location was perfect! It had plenty of space , within walking distance of shops and restaurants and had everything we needed! Great trip!
