Cowboy Cabin Getaway

  • This serene, seemingly remote studio cabin located on a historic ranch 10 miles west of Helena, near Continental Divide and MacDonald Pass trail system is sure to meet your needs. A cozy and clean cabin with a modest, fully stocked kitchen and 3/4 bath is sure to help you unwind and recharge. A BBQ and outdoor fire pit are located behind the cabin for your enjoyment. The Continental Divide hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing are all located close by. Great opportunities to see a variety of wildlife await you here on your next vacation.

**UPDATED summer of 2026: TV and WiFi added.

The cabin is located at the end of the driveway next to the main house, yet has a private backyard space. In the warmer months, an A/C unit will be ready for use in the cabin. In the winter, the road is maintained and plowed.

The cabin was perfect for our first trip to Helena. Nestled back off the main road, it's quiet with beautiful views. We took a nice walk at sunrise along the road. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. I would say the shower is a bit tight but great water pressure/hot water. The firepit out back is a nice touch to sit under the stars. The host was very communicative prior to our arrival. Easy check in/out. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent communication with the host (Amy). Property is very well maintained and close to a variety of restaurants and shopping. Broadwater Hot Springs was only 15 minuets away with hot and cold pools along with a lounge for food and drinks. The cabin is fairly secluded with most of all the amenities you would need. A firepit in the back was supplied with wood and perfect for watching stars on a clear night. The hosts Amy and Joe who live close to the property were very nice to visit with and respectful of your privacy. Thanks for a great weekend.
