Helmcken Falls, Wells Gray Provincial Park, BC Canada

The fourth highest waterfall in Canada, where the Murtle River drops 141 meters. Just a short walk from nearby parking, but you can also walk the canyon rim trail. Wells Gray has an amazing array of waterfalls and you are pretty much guaranteed to find bears!

This was taken in May 2019, it's 2 exposures taken within 30 seconds of each other and blended together, it was taken around 1am in the morning and shows the Milkyway over Helmcken Falls in BC Canada

My attempt at trying to zoom into the cave below. The water is so cold that there still sits snow next to it. In the winter I heard that these falls will actually freeze into a solid mass as if it's frozen in time.
