“It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. It was especially difficult getting large suitcases up, but that is natural when there are no elevators. if It was warm and cozy, the……

“Brilliant stay. Hostess very friendly and breakfast was one of the best I've had. Nice place and very homely. Great location if you want to see the surrounding area. Pickering itself was limited if you wanted evening meals and not just pub food but we found an Indian restaurant within a 2 minute walk from the hotel which was recommend.”

“Another great stay at Grosmont House. It was really convenient for access to/from Grosmont Station as well as the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The room was clean nicely arranged, it had all the accessories you’d need. The staff, yet again, were fantastic and friendly! The breakfast was brilliant too! We shall be back again!”
