Very special hotel, it renovated fton the prison.
The room is comfortable, the staffs are nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good. It has the early breakfast take away as we leave at 5:30am by our request. But only the bathtub is too high. Others are prefect!

We are late to checkin, so we email to inform the staff earlier, they reply me very quick, that impress me a lot. It is easy to reach hotel by taking tram 4 from central station. We get upgraded to bigger room from expedia VIP treat. And getting the cash coupons to buy items from snack bar. Room is clean, bed is comfortable.

An impressive hotel
The hotel itself is good and comfortable. The room is clean and spacious. The location is close the the pier of Viking line and is approachable by taking tram no.4 from the city. They offer a 12€ meal voucher which you can use in the mini bar, lobby cafe or hotel restaurant. But the hotel restaurant is pricy and just has very few choices of food. The staff of the restaurant is not welcoming and they required us to give tips even we don’t quite want to( since we have waited for over 20 mins after we first asked for the bill, the bill did not come until we asked again). The hotel is fine but definitely not recommend the restaurant.

We are very sorry to hear that your restaurant experience was not that successful and of course we will give this feedback to our restaurant manager. Our service should be of course much better than what you have experienced, so we really appreciate this feedback. Also, in any places in Finland, tipping is never mandatory, so you can tip if you wish but you never have to. Hopefully we will see you again in our hotel whenever you would stay in Helsinki. Quiet place for holiday with family
The hotel is away from the city centre. It let me to have a quiet place for resting in everyday. I love to sit beside the window of guest room enjoying the beautiful sky and surrounding everyday. And the breakfast was very tasty especially the bread. It is a great place to enjoy with my family.

Nice Hotel and actually being an attraction
The hotel is being redecorated from a prison and the hotel itself could be considered as an attraction in Helsinki. The staff is super friendly and they knew about the history and introduced us to take a look at the hotel history which really enhances the experience. The room is nice and clean, some even got a prison gate, which is quite fancy. The toilet and bed are the best in my Finland stay. The breakfast is tasty as well, the cups and plates are made to look like those used by a prisoner. Hotel is highly recommended.

Interesting experience
The hotel was renovated from a former prison, kept the essence but the hotel itself is spacious is clean. The staff were very helpful during our stay, we had a pleasant stay there. The hotel is located near the ferry terminal and in front of the hotel there is tram station for train station, quiet and convenient.

Wonderful Old Prison redone in a modern and cool way. Rooms are great and located in an area that is walking distance to many attractions. Uber was a great way to get around to the further out of the way areas.

Olipa kiva yöpyä muussa kuin ns. tavallisessa hotellissa. Kivasti on jätetty vankilan tuntua, kuitenkaan ei hotellin taso kärsi tällaisesta. Huoneessa oli vähän viileää, mutta ehkä senkin olisi itse saanut säädettyä. Mukava kävelymatka ydin keskustaan ja ratikkakin kulkee ihan muurin ulkopuolelta. Vahva suositus!

Todella siisti ja hyvä palvelu. Lemmikit myös tervetulleita ja koiramme otettiin hienosti vastaan. Aamupala on runsas ja maukas. Ainoa miinus tulee siitä, että huoneessa oli todella kylmä. Peiton alla kyllä tarkeni nukkua hyvin ja kesällä varmasti ihanan viileät huoneet, mutta talvella lämpötila turhan jäätävä.

Good location for visiting Helsinki
A great hotel with an interesting history. Brilliantly placed, Tram #4 stops right outside, Viking ferry is a 5 minute walk, great if you're arriving from or travelling in to Tallnn. City centre is an easy walk too. Great buffet breakfast

Arkiaamuisin 7.00 alkava aamupala on aivan liian myöhäinen. Viikonloppuisin tämä on jossain määrin ymmärrettävämpää, jos kohta silloinkin ihmisten täytyy usein olla liikkeellä jo varhain. En tule hotelliin juomaan pikakahveja ja hotkimaan munakokkelia ennen kuin on pakko juosta kahdeksalta alkaviin kokouksiin.

Unikt hotell med interessant historie. De har tatt vare på det karakteristiske med fengselsbygget, men gjort det innbydende og hyggelig. Må oppleves! God beliggenhet hvor torget er en kort gåtur unna. Det er også trikkestopp rett utenfor hotellet. Imøtekommende og hyggelig personale.

Ihana hotelli! Hyvä palvelu. Aamiainen myös todella hyvä. Parkkeeraaminen oli edullista. Pari pientä puutetta: suihkussa oli homepilkkuja ja lavuaari oli hieman tukossa. Huone oli myös hissin vieressä, jolloin yöllä kuului ääniä jobkin verran. Yöpyisin uudestaan.

The hotel is in walkable distance to the port ( about a 15 min walk). It is in a quite part of town, there is a trolley right in front for Helsinki transport ( if you are aware of how to use it). Front desk staff very helpful and friendly
