“The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. ”

“The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless.
It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing.
It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others.”

“Very easy to book , good value and excellent communication all the way to check in, very comfortable, clean, modern and spacious with everything you could need. Excellent parking, very easy to find and in a nice quiet location with some great scenery and lots to see close by. Hot tubs are a bonus and are a perfect place to relax in the evening.”

“The amount of detail and care put into the creation of this property is incredible. The yurt was cosy and welcoming. The owners were so kind, telling us about their wonderful chickens and letting us try to pet them. Communication was immediate and very understanding and professional. The location was perfect for a golden circle road trip amd if there wasnt a fulloon, the colors of the Aurora would have been mind blowing. “We had an amazing 2 nights in yurt Freya. Rick was a thoughtful and friendly host who really made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The space itself is beautiful with many fun little touches, and we were extremely comfortable during our stay. The breakfast each day was also amazing. If you are looking at this listing and thinking you might enjoy staying in a funky little space like this, I absolutely recommend it as a base of operations for your southern Iceland/golden……
