⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay at Aurora Nooks I had a fantastic experience at Aurora Nooks. The place is peaceful, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it perfect for relaxing. Everything was very clean and well prepared, and the location adds to the charm, especially if you enjoy nature and quiet surroundings. The service was friendly and responsive, and you can really feel the care they put into making guests comfortable. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The room was nice enough but they put more effort into the room having a moody esthetic than actually being functional. The only place to sit other then in bed was two chairs around a little table even tho there was absolutely space for a couch or love seat. The space was also very dark despite having every light turned on and the bathrooms lighting was very difficult to do makeup in. Very dark with a backlit mirror. It technically had a kitchenette however the only utensils provided were silverware. No spatulas, can openers, etc. not even salt and pepper. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable and the place was quiet and we felt safe and it was clean. Underground parking was also a big plus. Not a bad stay but would be great with a few adjustments.

Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch....

Estancia cómoda y muy agradable, instalaciones impecables; acceso rápido a tiendas, restaurante y transporte público; si llevas carro tiene estacionamiento. A unos 25 minutos de Reikiavik (en bus público). Cocineta con refrigerador y estufa inducción, para que cocines. El agua de la llave es potable (tratándose de Islandia, muy rica). Y sobre todo WiFi y la Smart con servicios de Streaming (yo veía Disney+)

Great value! It was redone but not high end. The dishwasher was falling apart, bathroom door didn’t lock and the glass shower door made a noise that made it sound as though it would break. 1 towel for a 5 night stay. But kitchen was key for us and location by the grocery was excellent

Clean and Friendly, but Hot and Dim

Aurora Nooks Hotel – Kópavogur, Iceland The Good The room was clean and well-equipped with practical amenities. Having a small kitchen with dishes and access to laundry down the hall was very convenient. Cleaning staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Just Okay The location is not central. Getting to downtown Reykjavík for shops and restaurants required either a longer walk or a short drive. Not a dealbreaker, but something to plan for. The Bad The biggest issue was room comfort. On sunny days, the window let in so much heat that the room became uncomfortably warm. The window only opened slightly, making cooling difficult. It seemed like other guests had the same problem, as a fire extinguisher had been left by the door—likely used to prop it open. To block the heat, we had to keep the blinds closed, but then the lighting was very poor. The lights themselves were dim, and the unusual switches required holding them down for several seconds before turning on, which was frustrating. Parking was also unclear. Our room guidebook listed no instructions, we couldn’t access the garage, and there was no dedicated street parking. We eventually found spots nearby, but it sometimes meant walking a bit. Overall A clean, functional stay with helpful staff, but room heat, dim lighting, and unclear parking made the experience less comfortable. Best suited if you value self-catering amenities and don’t mind being a little outside the city center.

Struttura molto bella e moderna il nostro appartamento era ampio e ben arredato, dotato di tutto quello che serviva, abbiamo avuto la necessità di comunicare con l'amministrazione in un paio di occasioni ed abbiamo utilizzato la chat ,che è stata soddisfacente e ci ha dato il supporto di cui abbiamo avuto bisogno. Place was very nice, only thing lacking was communication. I reached out prior to visit along with during visit regarding a late checkout, but never heard back until I tried and reached out to a different source. Hotel was very nice and equipped with everything we needed, would gladly stay again!

Beautiful and spacious apartment close to the city

Aurora Nooks was an absolutely perfect place to stay as a family. There was plenty of room, extremely clean, and we liked the convenience of a kitchen and washing machine. It’s only 10 minutes to downtown and so it was a great spot for our trip.
