He provided restaurant and activity recommendations and checked in with us throughout the stay to ensure that things were going well. The kitchen provided many appliances and spices galore and the rooftop deck afforded us spectacular views. Everything is a short walk away including activities and more restaurants than you can imagine. If ever……

“The communication with the host in regards to the property and check in was excellent. The property was centrally located. I know the area well as I was visiting relatives and it suited my needs fine as a place to stay and spread out. Outdoor patio was a huge bonus, which I appreciated as a lovely space to sit and get some work done on the laptop. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it.”

Modest but well stocked with everything you will need and in a great location to get a real feel for the city. 5 stars and highly recommended for your Oakland Experience! Walking distance from pretty much anything you will need and not too far from the ferry landing if you want to bump over to SF for the day. The one minor extra I requested was granted quickly and graciously and I will definitely stay……

It was a quick weekend so we didn’t have a lot of time to just hang out in the cottage. Our overall impression with it was kind of cute and funky, but could have been a little cleaner.”

My family needed a convenient place to stay to deal with a last minute family emergency and the last thing I needed was added stress. Robert’s place was no stress at all! “I was reticent to rent here as it only had 1 review. But, as it was the last minute, we had no choice. So glad that we did!!! Of the 3 apts that we have rented in the Bay Area, this one is BY FAR the best of the bunch. Everything in it is updated, clean & well designed to maximize space, aesthetic appeal & convenience. The view is even more lovely than the photos depict & the space is so bright with natural light from the many well-placed windows that it never occurred to us to turn on the……

“This is a small apartment with everything anyone could want in a charming package. It is set in a lovely garden that the gracious host encourages her guests to enjoy. There is a kitchen, a good shower, a desk, comfortable chairs for relaxing and, very important, a good bed. I’m looking forward to my return.”

“We had a lovely stay in the studio. It is well appointed and an excellent location for hiking trails and many restaurants in Larkspur. Allison was very quick to respond to a problem with the shower and got it fixed ASAP. We hope to return when the weather is nicer to enjoy the lovely garden.”
