“We had the most amazing lodging at Valverde, Room 1, with the private pool right on the water. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff, especially Rocio, were so attentive and friendly. The grounds were well kept. The availability of the shuttle to and from Tortuguero town worked perfectly for us. We booked a 6am canoe trip on our second day and we saw lots of birds and a cayman. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The meals were mostly good with only one exception, the beef……

“Beautiful Ecolodge in Sarapiqui. Common areas and our room were clean. The buffet style breakfasts and dinners were excellent. ”

“Chambre très correcte et propre, grand lit confortable et agréable terrasse donnant sur un petit jardin où viennent les oiseaux et bel environnement .Petit déjeuner très complet. Gros avantage, l'accès à la réserve est inclus et illimité. Seul problème la mauvaise insonorisation des chambres, on entend les cousins comme si ils étaient avec nous.”

“Lovely spacious room, hotel located in the middle of all the wildlife we saw almost everything possible- with sloths, monkeys, armadillos & loads more outside our front door.
Pool areas was brill & loads to do and see locally- staff were brill, the bar closed a bit early ”
