“The home was in great condition and the perfect place to rest up after a long day birding. Located approximately 15 minutes from Cheyenne Bottoms and 40 minutes from Quivira, it’s a welcomed retreat at the end of the day. The home is as described and offers updated amenities with an historic charm. I highly recommend it and will stay there during future visits to the area.”

“The home was very charming and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. which made it easy to prepare meals. The fenced-in backyard was secure, lovely, and a perfect spot for my dogs to play and for me to relax :-)”

“This is a nice older home near downtown. The cleanliness was ok but there were sheets left in the dryer and some unfolded towels in the closet. The owner was very great. We were in town with an Ill relative and needed to stay a day longer and he was very polite and informative. He was also quick to respond.”

“Came to town for a family reunion so four of us stayed at the house. Was very nice and very clean. Had a small hiccup with check in as the code had been changed from the listing but the owner was very responsive and it was quickly resolved. Great neighborhood and generous parking in back of the property. It has two nice rooms on the main floor with one shared bathroom so I am not sure if would sleep comfortably 8 as listed but it was very comfortable for four with the second bathroom in the……

“I normally don’t write reviews but this by far is the best hotel in the area. The amenities are great…including super clean pool, hot tub, arcade area, ping pong, gym, complimentary espresso, coffee, and bottled water at front desk. Staff was amazing! Location is perfect with breakfast at Perkins and The Page Bar and Grill is across parking lot. Will only stay here when coming to town! ”

“Staff was courteous and helpful, breakfasts were good, and rooms were clean. The only downfall was a tub that would not drain quickly, and so filled with water while showering. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend!”
