It’s a great family run property . The owners come out of their way to accommodate you and make you happy . It’s is true , rural Greek experience . The pool is great .Place is clean , the value for the money is there . Good for short stay

Tranquillité et superbe accueil

Séjour de 2 semaines, nous avons apprécié l'espace piscine très sympathique, calme et reposant pour la lecture. Nous étions dans un appartement avec une petite cuisine mais suffisante pour les repas basique. Attention la climatisation est en option, nous avons réussi à nous en passer malgré les 38 °C en fermant les volets et en utilisant les courants d'air. Super accueil de Valentina et de son équipe et nous avons apprécié la soirée "Grec" avec repas et danses. Bon service de bus avec un arrêt à 100 m mais nous avons finalement loué une voiture, plus pratique pour visiter. Le seul petit point négatif pas lié à l'hôtel mais valable sur toute cette côte est le passage des avions.

Valentina, ihr Mann und ihr Team sind so liebe, nette Menschen, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Wir hatten Zimmer Nr. 1, es war für zwei Erwachsene geräumig mit guten, großen Betten. Wir haben nicht gekocht, können also die Ausstattung nicht beurteilen, auf den ersten Blick war aber alles da, was man braucht. Das Bad ist zwar klein, dennoch war alles sauber, das Wasser wird schnell warm, perfekt :) Man bekommt eine gute Auswahl an Mahlzeiten. Wir haben jeden Tag dort gefrühstückt, es war super! Ein großes Omelette, ein frischer Orangensaft (der beste seit Ewigkeiten) und ein Kaffee (Nescafe) lagen bei 13 Euro, das fand ich ok. Den Pool haben wir nicht benutzt, aber er sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern, richtig idyllisch! Zur nächsten Bushaltestelle (Bus Stop Nr. 15) sind es 4 Min Fußweg. Nach Malia / Chersonnisos braucht man so 20-30 Minuten, Iraklio Flughafen ebenfalls ähnlich lange, Iraklio Stadt ca. 25 Minuten. Die Busse fahren unter der Woche und auch am Wochenende etwa im 15 Min Takt. Zum nächsten Strand in Kato Gouves läuft man ca. 15-20 Minuten, das war völlig ok. In Summe ein richtig toller Urlaub mit netten Gastgebern, gerne wieder :)

Pleasant stay

We were warmly welcomed by Valetina in this little family apartment hotel surrounded by a small garden and located 16 km off Heraklion. Spacious and clean rooms. Very good Cretan food. The pool was large and clean well located in front of the hotel with late afternoon sunshine.

Nice people, good food

We got off to a rocky start as we arrived late ( we let them know ahead of time) and no one told us the AC costs 5 extra euro a day so the remote for the AC was not left in the room. Because of this our first night was pretty horrid. The screenless windows and doors onto otherwise lovely balconies let in an army of starving mosquitos and every noise: the crying baby next door, the plane that seemed to be landing on the roof, a pack of dogs, roosters and more. However, the next morning we met the staff and they are very nice. They even let us stay a few hours longer at check out. The food in the cabana is outstanding and the pool area is lovely. Bus and taxi stand are about 3 minutes away. We paid 27 euros for the taxi from the airport. The room is very basic. Tp doesnt go in the toilet, clean towels every three day, squigy to push the water down the drain since the shower is so small the whole bathroom gets wet. Still, the price, excellent food and kind people make it worth roughing it. Great for a couple days in Crete. May be a little far out from town, but we enjoyed just lazing by the pool.
