“We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay.”

“Access to the hotel is via a large gate on the main street. Other than the signage on the gate, the property is not visible from the main street. The hotel surrounds a lovely garden. The hotel is very well kept. The room was spacious, simple but well maintained and comfortable. Parking is on street or at Jean Bart underground parking at the top of the street, I would definitely utilise again.”

“Der Aufenthalt war zwar sehr kurz aber auch schön. Die Lage ist perfekt, im Ort selbst gibt es Supermärkte. die typischen Souvenirläden, Restaurants und der Strand ist direkt vor der Haustüre. Parkplätze gab es auch direkt vor der Türe und auch umsonst. Handtücher zum Geschirr abtrocknen waren leider nicht vorhanden gab es aber im Supermarkt. Ein Wasserkocher war leider nicht vorhanden haben wir jedoch für ein paar Euro im Supermarkt gekauft und auch dort gelassen für die nächsten Besucher. Die……

“Keuken en badkamer waren mooi schoon en netjes, net als de kamers. Op 5 min loopafstand van het strand. Het was wel jammer dat de kamer van de kinderen geen deur had, maar een opening met de woonkamer, waardoor we niet rustig even wat konden drinken toen de kids op bed lagen.”

“Fantastic host, house was immaculately clean. The village is lovely, locals very helpful and friendly. Bonus of a park and football cage to the rear of the property. Great location to explore Northern France and Belgium. Sabine was very helpful throughout our stay.”

“Appartement tres bien équipé. Juste un petit be mol, pas de lumière dans la petite chambre. Pas de plafonnier et les petites lampes au mur ne fonctionnent plus. Attention car le ménage est a payer en plus. 60€ supplementaire a laisser pour la femme de ménage. Autrement tout est super.”
