“In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. “The large car park was pleasing after a long journey and arriving later than planned. The traditional hotel interiors and our room was tastefully decorated but the beamed ceiling in our loft room was really impressive. However we had very little room to move around as the space was limited. We were very disappointed to find that we couldn’t relax and enjoy a soothing shower after our journey, as we were advised (by a written notice) that we could not have a stand up shower!!
