“Only an overnight stop on way to Dover ferry (30 min drive). Everything was very clean and large comfortably bed and bedroom overlooking the beach. Some parts of the hotel could do with a little upgrade but that didn't put me off. Staff was very polite, efficient and professional. The bar was very up to date other than it closed at 1030. That said, I'm glad as I was up at 5am. Great location, especially if you would like a walk along the esplanade/promenade which I read was over 2 miles……

“We had the most wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful and the big bath was a perfect treat! Also , the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Meals were delicious and the staff were courteous and friendly.

“It’s not like staying at a Premier Inn or Travelodge but does the job. Could do with some updating and don’t expect an early breakfast as it starts at 9am.
You get what you pay for to be honest and the bed was comfy, loo, shower there so just what you need essentially. Wi-Fi just didn’t work in my room which I’m guessing was because I was at the top so a boaster would help. Replenishing of tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the room would be great.
Ideally located just a 15 mins walk to the……
