"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."

Communication with the hosts was easy and they were quick to respond when we had a question. The location and decoration of the space was perfect. "This is a nice, small, and very clean motel. The manager was nice and helpful. I stayed more than one night and have no complaints. Parking is available on site as well as next door. A large, well known gas station chain has a location right next door and Ashland has a lot to offer when it comes to food and drink options. I suggest going downtown to check out all the amazing murals on some of the buildings and go see the sites and view of the lake. I have been to Ashland more than once and I always have a good time when I’m there."
