“Our stay on the property was amazing. The house was lovely, had tons of natural light and wonderfully decorated. We loved walking the trail and going through the library. We stayed in mid-May & the weather was moody, thankfully there were fun puzzles and games to occupy those rainy portions of the day. There was plenty of space available for storing luggage. The mattress in the master bedroom was firmer that what we are used to but wasn't uncomfortable. The experience overall is quite memorable,……

“The house itself is so cool and unique- really beautiful! I also so much appreciate that the beds are comfy, nice quality sheets and pillows, and nice fluffy bath towels. Sometimes rental owners skimp on those- not here. Also had a little snafu with the house- nobody’s fault- and the owners were so kind and responsive to my needs. They are wonderful and attentive people and truly care that their guests have an amazing experience.”

“This property did not disappoint. Every morning we met on the 2nd floor wrap around porch for coffee with binoculars and were dazzled by bird calls from warblers and vireo. During the days, we took short drives to Gov. Dodge, House, Tallesin, and the Wisconsin River towns. Every evening we gathered on the lower porch for a fire ring with drinks and dinner. Enough room on both levels for different activities including streaming entertainment and meditation. Groceries close by and some restaurants……

“Lots of fluffy pillows and towels, fenced dog yard is much larger than photos show and is adjacent to sport court so you can play tennis while the dogs play. Very friendly hosts even offered tractor rides. Organic crop farm with horses and goat in pen beside laneway. Very peaceful, plenty of space for dining or lounging. Lots of games, toys for the dogs, even dog dishes to use - thoughtful amenities for a comfortable stay. Not fussy modern, just comfortable and clean - perfect.”

“There was more than adequate room for the 7 of us! Comfortable beds, enough bedrooms and the dinning room table stretched fit our needs. The outdoor entertainment shed was very interesting, we enjoyed the corn hole game! A note for the managers- we saw ants in the kitchen sink & saw a ground hog running from under the deck.”

“We found the property clean and perfect for our needs. The host was gracious and the loft was well supplied. They sell farm fresh beef and eggs. We had the eggs for breakfast each morning, what a treat. We would recommend Hollow Rule to anyone staying in the area.”

“The place is so beautiful and unique. The location was perfect for what we had planned. We spent a good amount of time at this location. The only complaints I have was the heat was not working. There were some minor things broken when we arrived. A drawer in the kitchen and one at the coffee bar buffet.”

“Clean, comfortable room. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Free breakfast was better than expected, with scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, and toast/pastries on offer. Would stay again if in the area.”
