“We had a lovely Thanksgiving and mini-Family Reunion at the Foxdale cottage. Foxdale is beautifully situated and decorated. We would surely stay at this property again. Our hosts were very responsive the one time we reached out to them and addressed the issue later that day. COOK’S NOTES: We cooked 6 breakfasts and 4 dinners, including Thanksgiving dinner. The appliances are new and work well. There's only one paring knife that's sharp, so bring a good chefs knife. They supply 2 or 3 pots, a……

“Hard to know where to start! We had the BEST time here for a quick little family getaway after Thanksgiving. Our kids loved the hammocks and outdoor fire pit area. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. So many thoughtful little touches throughout the house that show how much the owners care about your stay! I'm so sad to leave! “host was very accommodating and communicative. the house is very cute and the decor was a stunner. they even had a cute christmas tree lit up in the front window at arrival - nice touch. my kids loved the bunk beds and board games. nice towels and bedding. has both a reg coffee maket and a keurig. the views to and at the property are beautiful. the neighborhood is quiet and cute.”

“This small scale home has dramatic upward flourishes (a tower with glass over the living room) and lovely fresh design, which is what attracted me to it. But this is a good cover to some serious maintenance issues. The heat is forced air and the dehumidifier (masking what?) which must be left on (but makes noise) creates a drying atmosphere which can attack even healthy sinuses. The hot water was sporadic, one minute very hot, next minute ice cold. We were grateful that the owner sent a plumber……

“Property was just like Pictures. It is however located on a hair pin turn which was scary and noisy. Thank goodness for the chiropractor business where you can turn around. It was pet friendly but not pet safe. Would not recommend pets. Sun was great on porch for am but not afternoons.”
