"We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and well-maintained, and the fire pit was awesome and a great highlight of our visit. The centralized location made it easy to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we really enjoyed our time here. "The location was quiet and secluded which is just what we wanted. The pond actually had some good fishing despite how small it turned out to be. We didn't use the hot tub but found the house to be very cozy and equipped with just about everything one could need. The house had some very interesting acoustics which was a funny discovery. We loved the electric recliners. Great wifi and good cell service (Verizon). Google Maps took us right to the property. We did some hiking up at Grayson Highlands and closer to the cabin. The property had some short hiking trails and I also walked down to the highway a couple times to get in additional steps. There wasn't much we wanted that wasn't provided or available at the house. We were rained out one day and some covered outside seating would have made it perfect. Overall we were very pleased with the house and the property and would definitely recommend it to others."

"This stunning cabin was everything we were looking for. Remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Yet close enough to civilization. SO MUCH to explore although there is no reason to leave the property. It has everything. I am so happy we chose Lansing. We'll be sure to be back! Hal and Margie, the hosts with the most! "Great little house for a couple or small family. My kids loved the creek and the hot tub. My only suggestion would be to make sure you bring everything you need for your stay, full service grocery stores are not close. If you are handicapped/ have trouble walking it might be difficult to get in the cabin, land was rocky and small amount of stairs . For us it was fine. Also if you are over 6 foot tall your head will touch in places. I’m a little over five foot and I could touch the ceilings. The house was very clean, had all the basic cooking and kitchen needs. Great place if you really want quiet and just to hear the natural water flow."
