Charming mountain home, centrally located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with it's own nature trail. Easy walk to a public park with walking track, baseball and soccer field. A quick, 7 minute drive to downtown Highlands or 15 minutes to Cashiers. Convenient driving distance to most waterfalls or trailheads of the area.

The cottage is very quaint. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Close to town. In a very nice community and located near waterfalls and hiking trails. Lovely town to shop and eat out. The host, Kirk, went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended. We will definitely return. Try edelweiss pastry shoppe.

Great trip and PERFECT stay!

My best friend and I had a great girls’ trip and stay at Kirk’s cottage. The location to main street, shops, and eateries was easy and short. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect setting! We had a great stay and couldn’t ask for more.

Relaxing and enjoyable

The house was everything you see on the website Very warm and inviting. Very very clean. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk. He helped me with booking, got in touch with me in the process of getting me the information on how to enter the home once we arrived.
