Check in was easy, but not ideal as you have to go to the office across town to pick up the key. Ameneties were plentiful and property was clean.

Highly recommend the Galax condo!

The Galax condo is conveniently located on Main Street and within walking distance to many of our favorite shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean and beautifully furnished. The primary suite bed is extremely comfortable and the unit was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend, including a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival! We were easily able to come and go throughout the day given the prime location on Main Street and we never had any issues with parking. The unit comes with a designated parking spot behind the building, but we never had to use it. I highly recommend the Galax condo and we look forward to going back.

Hopeful Anniversary Getaway

We have made coming to the Highlands an annual retreat for our anniversary and found this really promising spot right in downtown that I was really hopeful would be the best spot

My husband and I wanted to stay right in center of the Highlands. Couldn't have been any better! Sweet place, comfortable bed, great shower. The only improvement I would make is to offer a way scramble an egg in the morning. The unit only offers a refrigerator and a microwave. But maybe it isn't advisable for insurance, city ordinances, etc. Would recommend this place! The balcony overlooking Main Street was a great place to sit in the mornings with coffee or in the evening prior to heading out for a dinner reservation. It has a speak easy feel to it. We enjoyed our visit to Highlands!
