“Reading the poor reviews of this hotel makes it sound worse then it really is. It's a nice simple stay at a smaller hotel when needed. The housekeeper really cleaned the room/bathroom every time, we got fresh towels each day, the A/C worked well, and the owner was kind. Yeah, it's rinky dinky cute hotel, but don't knock it before you try a stay. We ended up getting another night and they were accommodating to help us. If needed, we would stay again.”

“We always stay here when we are in Durham for hospital appointments. This hotel is convenient to the hospitals, eating establishments, gas station, drug store. Not far is grocery also. ”

“Front desk was very nice. Actually most of the staff the staff I encountered was great. However, on several occasions the staff was out in front/side of the main entrance smoking which made it unavoidable to exit or enter the hotel without encountering smoke. I’m asthmatic snd smoke triggers an attack. If they could take the smoking to the back of the property, or an area that is nowhere near the main entrance, this would be ideal. Aside from that, they get 5 stars. ”
