  • Experience convenient and comfortable living staying at our Seashell Ohana ONE! Our newly built 2 bedroom 2 bath duplex. Located centrally in Hilo. You will be just 3 miles from Hilo airport, Liliuokalani Park and Garden, Carlsmith Beach Park, and many other popular attractions and restaurants. This spacious house sleeps up to 6. Enjoy the proximity to Volcanoes National Park, Rainbow Falls, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden and much more!

    Start your vacation at this centrally located home, surrounded by shopping centers, restaurants, parks, and beaches! If you are visiting Hilo for business, this space is ideal as well, with plenty of table space for working and high-speed internet through Spectrum (200mbps). No cooking in this unit. We provide coffee machine, microwave, juicer, refrigerator, mug, plates and silverwares in this kitchenette. 2 walk-in showers. In addition to the 3 full size beds available in this home, there are one futon sofas (in the bedroom) and one sofa in the living room to accommodate extra guests; please note there are no extra beds. Let us know if you would like to request air mattress.

    Please Note: As this is a multi-unit property, guests may occasionally hear normal household noise from the upstairs unit, including footsteps and general activity.

    Private parking is on-site at the entrance of the apartment. Please let us know if you will need space for more than 2 vehicles . Quiet hours between 9pm and 7am. Shared laundry room available on property

    Average weather in Hilo is 84F/64F. Most the Hilo residents do not install air conditioning in the house. -** Air conditioning** in the living room only. No additional fees.
    -Please read and abide the house rules booklet at the property.
    -Please keep noise levels down between 9pm and 7am.
    -House-keeping may be available at an additional fee for longer stays.
    -Early check in is available for an additional $40.00, please let us know if you'd like to check in your bags early. Property Manager on site

Clean, roomy, and a very convenient location. I wish there was coffee included. Instead of having to wash dishes (no sink to do it), perhaps providing disposable plates and utensils would be better. The shower curtains were also too short which resulted in wet floors. With that being said, it is a really nice place. I also liked that you offer one night stays.

Five Stars! This place was very clean, smelled amazing everytime we walked in the doors. The AC was very cold, unit was well stocked with the basics (trash bags, laundry basket, dishes, toilet paper& paper towels) The host MAGGIE was excellent. Quick response with any questions or concerns. Overall EXCELLENT stay. Will definitely book again.Con: Only negative was there was no sink in the kitchen

Pros: Property was clean and smelled good as soon as you walk in. Big property, nice parking, quiet area, good location near major attractions. Cons: No sink in the kitchen. Especially annoyed that they ask for you to clean all the dishes before you leave. I don’t know what they’re thinking. Bathrooms are on the smaller side, and each bathroom has the smallest sink you’ll ever see, which would not have been a major problem if they did not ask you to clean the dishes in them. They also gave me the wrong wifi info and it took several tries getting a hold of them to get the right info.

The Host/Owner was very nice and responded to my callS. I paid for the unit because of the 2 bathrooms. Although there is a warning from the host/owner that nothing can be done about the normal activity such as footsteps. My family did not have a peaceful night because the person's footsteps are heavy and at 1030PM and 330AM, his footsteps going back and forth with tapping sounds for several minutes woke all of us up. I recorded the sounds if anyone wants. The frig was warm upon arrival and I thought it was off to save electricity.  The outlet for frig, coffee, micro was not working which i found out later when we returned to the unit, because the water bottles and frig were not cold. Host 'insinuating'  that a device tripped it, while we never used that outlet. A gentleman she sent over said the breaker tripped. All other outlets we used worked fine. No hot water for shower. We returned to the unit that night, after being out from about 2PM to 830PM and there was no hot water, not even warm. Host blamed it on many people using hot water about the same time. Host offered to use her bath, which is across the lot, but my wife was uncomfortable since we would have to carry our shampoo, clothes, and towel, to use her bath. I understood that the gentleman said that he reset the heater breaker also. I would not stay in that unit again, and possibly rent 2 seperate rooms eslewhere, for about the same price.

We only stayed for one day, but it was fantastic. The location was near everything we wanted to do. The place was very clean and spacious.

Hawaii Trip

It was a great place to stay while vacationing for the first time in Hawaii. Although we were only really there to sleep, it was comfortable and quiet for relaxing. Plenty of space and clean. I would definitely stay there again if and when I come back to Hawaii.

Convenient Stay near National Park

My wife and I spent two nights here while visiting Hilo and Volcanoes National park. The property was adequate for what we needed and the price was just right. Check-in was very easy and the property had a convenient location. The beds were smaller than expected, but comfortable. Overall, we would return.

Sweet suite

Quaint and comfortable stay in the middle of Hilo town. Complimentary amenities, including a pack and play, to make traveling with an infant so much easier! Owner was great with communication and even adjusted pricing to match another listing.
