Weekend Getaway

Had a great time at this property. The private pool was refreshing and the area was convenient to everything. Plus the house was excellent for entertaining us during spring break!

Perfect Family Vacation

We can't thank you enough for setting the stage for an amazing family vacation. This house felt like home and filled our stay with memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. Great house, but does not sleep 16

We loved the house, but it’s important to mention that it doesn’t comfortably accommodate 16 people as advertised. We had 16 guests, consisting of three families with mostly teenage boys and young adults. The bunk room is designed to sleep two people per bed, which might work for small children, but it’s unrealistic for anyone over the age of 10. The bunk beds are very low, small, and have a weight limit of 150 lbs on the top bunk, making it impossible to safely fit two kids on the top bunk. We had to purchase three additional air mattresses to accommodate everyone. That being said, the house itself was great. It was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the pool was a nice feature. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool, faucet and dishwasher, but maintenance responded quickly and fixed them right away. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach, and we rented bikes to explore the area. Overall, the house was wonderful except for the bed situation.

Perfect family getaway!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had adults and kids of all ages and everyone loved it. The bedrooms are layed out to give everyone space. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The pool and pool area was nice and clean, the kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels for everyone. It’s also just a short walk over to the beach but the kids never wanted to leave the salt water pool. It’s also in walking distance to mini golf and a few restaurants. You can walk over to gators pizza and wings and their pizza was delicious. We will definitely be booking again! (Side note, but wouldn’t take stars off for this; the patio area does have an ant problem. We contacted maintenance, they came out first thing the next morning, which was amazing that they were so on top of things! But the ants were still everywhere around the pool and grill, might need more than just maintenance spraying. And the bedrooms get really hot at night if you shut the doors, even if you turn the AC way down. But none of that would stop us from returning from this beautiful beach home!)

House was great, the pool area not so much

Overall the house was clean. It had everything we needed amenity wise (having an 8 month old with our party), kids bedroom was wonderful with toys, tv, movies, etc., the kitchen was great and we did enjoy our stay. However, the outdoor pool area was not as enjoyable. The pictures are a bit deceiving as the pool is EXTREMELY small and very deep! The retaining wall is not high enough or enclosed. This was very concerning as we had small children, one whom is autistic, and the lake was able to be accessed very easily. Not to mention the alligators were right below us almost the entire time and out of the water with nothing stopping them from entering the pool area. We understand they live in fresh water, but there should have been something enclosing the area fully or this mentioned with better pictures in the description. It was supposed to be cleaned on Wednesday and they showed up, but never cleaned it. It was dirty, and was not cleaned our whole stay, and didn’t look like it had been in a while. We are pool owners at home and were very disappointed in this. The landscaping from the neighboring property was overgrown and covering most of the sunny part of the patio, the pool only has minimal sun. A few other things worth mentioning are the furnace filters were black and haven’t been changed since Jan, the ice maker/filtered water didn’t work & was dirty. Also, longer than a 5 min walk to the beach, more like 10.

This house is great. Conveniently located to the beach, we biked there everyday with our kids. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked, though some random spices were missing, which is to be expected. The pool and grill were clean, great and right next to each other. The beds are comfortable, the listing is accurate, there were plenty of baby/toddler toys, and we had a great time.

Perfect Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our needs. 4 grandparents, 2 parents and 1 3.y.o - the pool under the house was shady and perfect for morning and evening swims. The beach was a 7min walk and ideal for sunbathing and sandcastles. Property management was responsive and accomodating. 5 STARS!!

Exactly what we were looking for

Beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable space for a large group with kids. Elevator was an added bonus, allowing our grandparents to join us on the trip. The property was close to everything -the beach, our event, shopping, and many great restaurants. The kitchen was stocked with items for just about everything we needed to prepare meals. The heated pool was especially nice. Would definitely love to stay here again and we already referred it to many of our friends and family.

We had a wonderful vacation! This house fit us all very well, we had 5 adults and 3 kids.

The pool was great to come back to after a day at the beach to cool off. The kids enjoyed having a floor to themselves. We had two issues when we first got there but they sent someone out quickly. The elevator kept getting stuck on the 3 floor but we figured out mid week how to “fix it”. Great house, great vacation!

Great stay and close to the beach

The house itself is gorgeous and very clean. We enjoyed being an 8 minute walk to the beach. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. Things we needed taken care of, she checked into it right away. The house is very close to the neighbors so I f you enjoy privacy and not hearing neighbors, this probably isn’t the best choice. We didn’t have any problems while we were there. Having the beach chairs and beach stuff available was great! There are plenty of beach towels.

Wonderful house

Our extended family of 12 (8 adults, 4 children) stayed here for the week and it was the perfect size house. The kids loved the bunk beds room and the house came with everything we needed - beach toys, beach cart, stroller, pool toys, kitchen items, etc. We enjoyed being on the pond where the kids fed the turtles bread. I will say that it is walkable to the beach but not super close. For those 60+ in our party, they preferred to drive. There is paid parking close to the beach but not a ton. We rented bikes from the stand on the walk to the beach, right in front of the resort. It was the best price we could find and the people were very nice. The pool is quite small but fine for the 4 young kids. Overall, the house was clean and in a good location. It is a quiet neighborhood and we really enjoyed our week.

Superb Property -- Inside & Out!

This is one of the best VRBO's I have ever booked. From the minute you walk in the door, it is obvious that the owner's put a lot of time into each and every detail. The decor and furnishings are stunning but functional. The starter kitchen and bath kits (and K-cups!) that are provided mean you don't have to run to the grocery store the minute you set your bags down! Personally, our favorite spot was the covered pool. The weather was a bit cool for our stay, but since the pool is heated, we were still able to enjoy this amenity, even when it started to rain. The pavers around the pool area are a wonderful addition, and it appears to be the only house that has this upgrade. We loved that the beach was a just a short 10-minute walk away, and again, the owners have gone above & beyond by providing a wheeled beach cart to make toting supplies a breeze. If we are even in the Hilton Head area again, we will definitely re-book this home!

Great house for our family vacation

We loved this large house and great layout that accommodated all 11 of us for family vacation. They had everything we needed and it was a gorgeous property. The pool was a great amenity! We did have some trouble with the fan in one of the bedrooms not working and some issues with the grill outside; but other than that, everything was perfect!

Overall very nice place

Enjoyed our stay. Walk to beach down the road is a good 10-15 minute walk (calculated 2000 steps), gas grill by pool needs to be replaced as the plastic knobs are stripped and you can’t tell if the gas is on so be careful. All bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Pool on the smaller side and pool area upon arrival could have been picked up a bit more. Had great things for the beach that were useful. Nice having the garage refrigerator. Be sure to read directions about using the elevator. Comes in handy with luggage. Balconies are really nice.

Hilton Head Vacation

Everyone of our family loved the home and location. Just what we were looking for. Will recommend to all our friends this house at Hilton Head. One thing to consider are the bunk beds which have a weight limit of 150 pounds on the top 2 beds. Our group being all adults left us with 2 beds unusable.

great couples rental

Accommodated four couples very nicely. The rental was immaculate and appeared just as represented in the photos. We enjoyed watching TV by the pool. Close proximity to great dining, shopping and golf courses. Property management responded quickly to minor problems. We had a fabulous memorable week. The rental was impressive.

Home Away From Home

Rented for a couples weekend. The rental far surpassed our expectations. Warm and welcoming from the minute you enter. It was exceptionally clean and the property manager thought of everything to provide the comforts of home. Close proximity to the beach, shopping and fine restaurants. Relaxing poolside shaded patio with an outdoor TV made for fun afternoons. Response time to address minor issues was impressive, less than 15 minutes. The property is well managed. We hated to leave but all good things must come to an end.
