Great location for golf and beach

We came for a friends birthday to play some world class golf courses. The golf courses did not disappoint and neither did this property. Conveniently located to golf, beach, and restaurants.

Comfortable and easy, right on the beach

We had a great fall break with my 6 year old and my parents. We wanted some place that would be comfortable for a week’s stay, have all the amenities for it to feel like home, and be super close to the beach, and this condo fit the bill! You can see the ocean from the property, and it’s a short walk to get to the beach. The pool was heated and incredibly comfortable. Overall it was a very convenient place to stay, and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway

Loved the three bedroom and baths and the privacy to each. Loved the view and the grounds. The palmetto dunes area is amazing! We all want to go back. Only drawback was towels smelled of cigarettes and check in person didn’t return a call about a late checkout. Ultimately we didn’t need it. Thanks for a wonderful stay for our first time at Hilton Head. Blessings , The Martin family

BEAUTIFUL Ocean front views

My husband and I loved this property...ocean front with only a pool in between us and the beach! Another couple was supposed to join us, but couldn't because of illness. We were centrally located and had numerous restaurants and shopping nearby. We rented bikes and rode along the many paths and on the beach which was the BEST! Went kayaking and learned so much about the habitat, etc, Outside tours was so GREAT to work with and offer great discounts (50%) at their retail store if you take one of their tours! We brought home some really nice souvenirs and gifts for our family!

Spectacular views, spacious accommodations!

This property is convenient to everything. We love Palmetto Dunes. We could sit on the balcony and watch the ocean and it’s a quick walk and you are on the beach. The unit accommodate six adults easily with privacy when you need it. Two bedrooms have ensuites and Kings and the twin room can close off the third bathroom to feel like another ensuite. The property has grills that are cleaned daily if you like to cook in but the kitchen could use some cookware. The gym is tiny and the cable machine is broken so if working out is important to you, you will need to get a vacation pass somewhere else. There are gyms nearby. All said, it’s still one of the best properties we’ve stayed in and we will book it again.

Midsummer HH vacation

Easy rental process Villa was clean, property and amenities were clean Advertised as “Luxury” and while risking sounding spoiled was not up to this standard. While villa was clean and comfortable with ocean views we did experience a few small issues unacceptable for a luxury Appt. Burned out light bulbs X 3, a damaged wicker chair on balcony and a broken refrigerator door. In addition many other villas had key pad entry and this one did not, and for a large villa 3 keys is not enough.

Perfect, absolutely perfect!

This was my first time staying in Hilton Head and now I don't want to stay anywhere else. Everything was cleaned so well, the interior was exactly like the photos and the quality of everything was just perfect. I look forward to our next stay.

Great HHI vacation

We have visited HHI many times and enjoy the beach in Palmetto Dunes. This was our first stay at this property and we loved the views. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would recommend this unit. Our only complaint was the ice maker did not work.

Great location for a family vacation.

Perfect location. Spacious three bedroom three bath condo. We would definitely stay here again. The location on the island was perfect. Great pool set up with easy access to the beach.

Great location and facility. If I’m being a little picky, the kitchen was set up a little awkwardly and the owner still uses keys instead of a keypad on the main door. It was a little inconvenient some days as we only got two keys for five people. But overall definitely worth it to stay.

Great Property & Best Location

We had a wonderful experience at Hampton Place in Palmetto Dunes. Condo was great, spectacular views, and we really enjoyed the pool and easy beach access. The only negative thing I would add is that the 2nd bedroom king mattress was very uncomfortable. It needs to be updated. Will stay here again and would recommend to friends & family!

The plumbers came in without us being notified. Apparently there was a leak the week before we got there. They could not find anything in our unit. It was concerning to have 2 men show up without letting us know. They could have been anyone

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Our original rental was affected by hurricane Ida which left us without a labor day vacation. Luckily this gorgeous condo was available and it felt like this was where we were meant to be! Booking process was seamless and management sent wonderful instructions. I highly recommend this unit.

Great View But Very Dated

Look close at the the pictures. They are very accurate. The view is great but the furniture/bed spreads are old and dated. Pool and access to ocean is great. I would tell my friends to keep looking if they want a condo in Palmetto Dunes.

Overall, it was fine

Pros: The view is great and the property was quiet with plenty of parking. We really liked the garage parking. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and everything seemed clean. The kitchen was very stocked with pretty much anything you need and then some. The location was really good too with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Cons: While overall the condo is in good shape, the TVs definitely need some updating. They are small and old. Also, in the kitchen, there are lots of cabinets but they all have things in them so food had to be kept on the counter. The vertical blinds are a pain. There were a couple of notes from the owner about being careful with them. We'd recommend getting curtains instead which would probably be better for all. The pool was VERY sandy, dirty, and had a film of oil on it the whole time. I'm positive they didn't clean it each day so that was a bit disconcerting. We've stayed at other beachfront resorts where the pool was cleaned well every day so there was hardly any sand in it. The hot tub was worse because there was a tree over it so leaves were always in it. We also didn't like that we had to pay the VRBO fee, yet the owner/property manager didn't take the second payment through the site so there was really no point in going through VRBO. It made us a little suspicious because it didn't appear we'd get the same VRBO guarantee that we would have received going through the site. It ended up working out ok, though, as we didn’t have any major issues. Just be aware of that. Check-in and check-out were easy but be aware it is on another part of the island. As the title says, overall it was fine - not stellar, but not bad either.

Hilton Head vacation success

The property was clean and accommodations spacious. I cooked quite a bit so kitchen worked well. Plenty of seating. Breakfast table, main table and bar area. Full size washer and dryer was so nice to have. The 3 bathrooms for the 3 bedrooms was also a time saver. Pools were good as were loungers and umbrellas. Hot tub wasn’t hot, but pool area as a whole is really nice. Beach was perfect. Highly recommend making food reservations way in advance if you come this summer - lunch and dinner. Reserve bikes too in advance. Bring your patience for traffic. Loved this condo and the property. Rented bikes for the week and had fun biking to the General Store. Soft serve ice cream and slurpees were popular. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
