Girls weekend

This property was perfect for our girl weekend. The little ones love the close proximity to the pool. The walk to the beach was slightly longer than anticipated but the wagon provided was excellent and made the trip easier. We loved everything.

close to the beach

The location of this property is great; closer to the beach than other condos we’ve rented in Shipyard. The condo is lovely and spacious, however a bit cold and hard. Without many soft surfaces, every noise can be heard throughout the condo, even bathroom activity echoed! Early-risers found it difficult to be quiet for the late-sleepers. The hide-a-bed mattress is very uncomfortable and not really usable. We had a couple couch-sleepers instead. I was not thrilled with the cleaning job. There were fingerprints on everything (again lots of hard surfaces) and sand all over the floor. Beware, when you rent this property, you are not dealing with an owner/VRBO but rather a rental management company called Sunset Rentals. There are extra contracts to sign and they list things like access to the beach club and Sonesta Resort as “amenities” which they are not. They also only provided 3 trash bags for the week which for party of 7 was not reasonable. I asked for a couple more and was told it would cost a “housekeeping fee.” We stay in lots of vacation condos and are used to bringing/buying a few things but not trash bags. For what we paid for this property I would hope a couple extra bags would be included. Overall we had a great time and would probably stay again, but renters should know what they are getting into.
