"The rooms and lobby were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was hot with good water flow. Only recommendation I have was that they upgrade the electrical outlets in the room by making them more readily accessible and adding USB ports. Other than that it's a great little place. I will stay there again when I'm in the area and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Breakfast was nothing fancy like the big chain restaurants, but there was a good selection of carbs. Coffee was hot and plentiful!"

"This quaint little house felt like stepping into Grandma’s home, with its cozy atmosphere, rustic charm, and homey decor. The hot tub was hot and ready for us when we arrived, and the cute porch overlooking the pond was a lovely place to relax. Although the rustic country roads made it feel tucked away from everything, the house was just minutes from the Endless Wall Trail, the New River Gorge Bridge, and many other area attractions. It made the perfect home base for exploring the area.We did encounter a large number seasonal stink bugs in the front bedroom with the bunk beds, which meant the kids could not sleep in this room, and ended up sleeping on the pullout bed in the living room. When we were able to speak with the caretaker the next day he was upfront with us about this being a seasonal challenge, and we appreciated his honesty and communication.Overall, the house has so much character and a wonderful location. It was a cozy place to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful New River Gorge area, and we appreciated the charm and hospitality of this family-owned rental."

"Cabin was Very Clean, Host was Very Helpful, and Kind Enough to Give us Our Privacy, Very Pet friendly for Our Little Boo, She Loved watching the wildlife from the Back Deck! I Didn't Use the "Hot Tub" but I Usually Go for a Jet tub! The Cabin Had Everything we Needed & More. So Much for Kids to do in Games, And the Cabin had a Very Whimsical, Homey Feel. So Many Hidden Treasures, and So Close to All we Wanted to do! We will Return! As It was a Great Trip to Wild & Wonderful... Thank you Nikik for Allowing Us to Invade your Home, We Loved it All! "

"This was the perfect stay for our family when visiting New River Gorge! It was convenient to things, yet secluded feeling as well. The cabin was soo clean, which is one of the first things my wife and I notice when staying somewhere! The check in process was easy. It was comfortable for my wife and kids and I. I would absolutely recommend staying here!"
