"Check-in was smooth, quick, and easy. The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was a typical continental spread, warm, and delicious to our liking. Thanks to the staff who ensured there was always food available and kept the place tidy. Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious enough to move around. It had a fridge, microwave, TV, and AC. The bathroom appeared clean and was fully stocked with supplies. The only downside was a musty smell, like a shirt soaked in sweat. I suggest that housekeeping uses a new, clean rug to wipe the surfaces. I hope they didn’t use the same rug for other areas of the room. If it weren't for this, I would have given a 10/10 rating. I would gladly stay here again next time if given the opportunity."

"This is a very old building but they have done well keeping it up. Slightly musty odor with the room and bedding. Not worth the price, but we have to remember the standard price in the location. This is North of Hinton adding an extra 10 to 15 minutes to the drive to the Park."

"We enjoyed our stay at Velora Hinton. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included next door and include a variety of options. About a 45 minute drive to Jasper. Would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. The staff were professional and accommodating. The power was out throughout the town and they gave us suggestions of things to do until they could check us in. Breakfast was hot and coffee always on."

"The exterior is a little run down but the rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very friendly! The continental breakfast was typical but there's a waffle maker which was a bonus! The room was pretty warm and the A/C didn't work great, but all in all, a great location to stores around and a beautiful drive into Jasper. You can see the mountains from the rooms."

"The house is clean spacious and comfortable. It is a short drive to both Jasper National Park and Hinton AB. My only real complaint is that one of the neighbors had a generator that would start up and run for 10 minutes or so and then shut off every hour or so, and another neighbor who would leave their ATV idling in the driveway for long periods of time. It was not terrible and not the host's fault, but we travel to places like this to enjoy nature and not to listen to small engines. That being said, I would come back."
