Nest Hotel Hiroshima Hatchobori

"We had a great stay at The Nest Hotel Hiroshima Hatchobori. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our Twin room was very clean with a nice layout and view overlooking the main street. The beds were comfy and there wasn't any noise coming from outside the building or corridors. The hotel overall feels modern and up to date and has a stylish reception area. The location is great, with the streetcar/tram stop directly across the road, contenting you with Hiroshima Station eastbound and the Peace Memorial Park area westbound. Hondori, the covered shopping arcade/area is within easy walking distance, in fact all of the main sites are not too far a walking distance away, such as Hiroshima Castle (19 min walk), Hiroshima Museum of Art (15 min walk), Peace Memorial Museum (23 min walk) and Park (18 min walk), shopping and entertainment areas (within 10 min walk), the World Heritage Route Pier for Miyajima (18 min walk). The streetcar can get you closer to many of these by a couple of stops. The free breakfast comprised of grab and go paper bags of small bread slice and cake/muffin along with coffee, with a seating area on the ground floor. I believe that for the price, standard of hotel, customer service and location, this hotel was possibly the best in Hiroshima and I'd definitely recommend or stay here again."

"A superb choice in Hiroshima. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering Japanese and western dishes. The hotel offers complimentary snacks and drinks through the day such as tea and coffee and cakes in the afternoon, happy hour in the evening and soup at night. Location is convenient. Not many shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but next door Is a large 7-Eleven, which is handy. A busy commercial district is about 10 minute walk. The hotel is located roughly equidistant from the train station and the Peace Park, about an 18 minute walk to each. Would stay here again."

"Extremely nice hotel, really enjoyed the stay, staff were great, room had a PRIME view to die for, the breakfast buffet was really good, and close walking to everything. There is a Japanese grocery store in the basement that was really fun to shop at and they had some really fresh veggies and sushi. The room reminded you that the hotel is definitely a 5 star FIRST CLASS hotel"

"The Granvia South Gate is a great location and hotel in Hiroshima where we would definitely stay again! Next time we would probably get a larger room, as the premium room is a bit on the small side. The western style breakfast was good and the only thing i would change there is the end time from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. We also used the laundry there which was a great amenity for a long travel trip like ours. The hotel does not have a formal bar, which would have been nice after a long day of sight seeing. And, the connection to the train station could not be any better! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would stay again."
