"Quaint little place by the river. Staff was helpful especially when we requested for a change of room. The place is a little old but the nice location by the river helps. Onsen on the roof was especially useful"

"Good point is very close to JR station. But terrible points are, no elevator, need to get heavy luggage upstairs, need to charge 1000 yen if you need to keep luggage there for a couple of hours after check out, hot spring bath available at limited time period , and the smell of the new wood in the room have give a bad day for those who are sensitive to smell, just like those people don’t smoke cannot tolerate smoking room. Think before you try provided the cost of stay is not cheap when compared...
