Fabulous place for group of friends
Everything was excellent. However as a group of 5 couples ranging in age from 63-78 a kitchenette Downstairs would have been good for our group.

The Best Holiday Home.
Wow wow wow! This holiday house is something special. It is an absolute show stopper. It is very easy to see why it is in the best spot. It sits in a position of perfect elevation, the surrounding water views are out of this world. The walking track and facilities are amazing. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place for our family to get together. 7 nights wasn’t long enough! Thanks for having us, very highly recommended.

Amazing property!
Stayed here for a weekend away with girlfriends and loved this house. Immaculately clean, modern style with stunning views, this property was exactly as advertised and did not disappoint. Communication with host (James) was easy and he was always lovely to deal with and helpful with any queries that we had. We came to Hobart for a concert which was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute but it turned out to be a blessing as it meant that we got to spend more time enjoying this amazing house. Early morning walks meant that we saw dolphins in the bay, families of black swans, lots of ducks and met friendly locals walking their dogs. Added bonus - the bathrooms were very well stocked with handwash, bodywash, shampoo & conditioner which we thought was a nice touch. Hosts James and Sarah also left us a bottle of wine to enjoy! Don't hesitate to book this property, you won't be disappointed.

We enjoying the Lake views almost every morning outside before we set off. Nice kitchen with well equip full utensils & appliances … but lack of rice cooker. We had great meals on big family dining tables 👍

Fabulous property in amazing location
17 of us stayed at the property and loved every minute. The rooms were comfortable, the views amazing and the location was perfect. Would highly recommend for a stay in Hobart.

Wow what a house!
The photos do not do this home justice.. there were 13 adults and 3 children in our group and the house accommodated us all effortlessly. The location is truly stunning.. we watched dolphins off the balcony and the kids loved playing hide and seek throughout this big inviting property James was so fabulous to deal with and definitely made the stay even more enjoyable..5 stars.. highly recommend, I’d give more stars if I could!!

Amazing place
We were a group of 14, with a mixture of adults, teenagers and toddlers. The place is amazing. It has everything you need. Massive kitchen, huge bedrooms. It’s all very modern and clean. Outside is spacious. The kids loved kicking the ball and walking lakeside. Everything is also close by. We had an amazing stay. The owners are so accomodating, and only a phone call away. Highly recommend this property with anyone with a large group.

Touch of paradise
What a great place to stay and relax. Housed 10 adults comfortably. What a great host James was, the basics were available tea, coffee and milk so we didn't have to panic. Great option for large groups Or families
This house was perfect for accomodating large family/friend groups. Huge living and dining areas for everyone to gather. Good sized bedrooms and space for children. Generous sized kitchen with everything available. This house provided plenty of room and space for children and adults to do their own thing, large bathroom spaces with plenty of toilets and sleeping options. Loved our stay.

Amazing..The Best Week Ever
Wow, from the moment we walked into the property we were amazed beyond words. All I can say we were all speechless by how incredible the views and house was everything about it was amazing. The views were out of this world. Surrounded by water you feel like your floating in clouds above the water. Close to CBD,Shopping Centres. The convenience store 1 minute round the corner was handy. We loved the walking track by the waterfront. We didn't want to leave. We had a magical 1 week stay. The children literally teared up on leaving, I would love to return. A 10/10 memorable experience. Thanks so much for having us. Would Highly Recommend to Future Visitors.

Fantastic home, amazing views, great host
We had a group of 8 adults stay and we had a great time. Comfortable beds, very clean throughout with plenty of room to relax. We loved the deck with the bbq off the kitchen and the views were spectacular. The walking track along the river was a highlight. Highly recommend

Fantastic end to our Tassie holiday
Where do I start? All communication with Will prior to arrival was attended to promptly and courteously. We were very excited about this property but we were even more blown away than we expected to be on arrival. The location is magnificent, spectacular river and mountain views in all directions and the house is a dream- if it were ours, we would never leave it! We were 6 adults and 5 small children and there was unlimited room, with 4 toilets, 3 showers, a spectacular bath, 3 separate entertaining areas, great, well supplied kitchen, a massive dining room and table( we called it the boardroom) and excellent laundry facilities. Superb al fresco BBQ area- I could go on forever. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to all.

Family Vacation
From the moment you walk in the door the views are SENSATIONAL!!! We were on a family vacation with 14 people. The house was extremely comfortable with an abundance of room for everyone. The house was immaculate and it had everything you needed to provide for the whole family. From the huge kitchen to the gorgeous BBQ area and spacious living areas this house exceeded our expectations. An added bonus was the kids retreat they had an absolute blast. Will was so friendly to deal with and responded extremely quickly to any communication. Perfect for medium size group or big family holiday
We are a group of 13 people visitng Hobart for nice sceneries. This house is perfectly located in a new suburb with plenty of rooms, both inside and out. Huge dining table for the whole group enjoying own cooked Tasmanian seafood. More than enough bedrooms for every couples. Lovely wildlife (rabbits and waterbirds) in waterside backyard. Picturesque view out of ceiling to floor glass window. Its hard to find a house as big asthis on, and even harder to find a house perfect like this one. And a friendly and helpful host as well. Thx.

Perfect weekend away
We were greeting by the lovely hosts who are obviously very proud of their house and so they should be. The views make it seem as if you are floating on the water and the large living spaces make it the perfect location for large groups. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed being only a 15min uber from Hobart City. Will be back!

Beautiful location, views are stunning across the river, far enough out of Hobart to feel like you are secluded away from the city, but close enough to see the sites and attractions of Hobart if you choose!

Great for groups
A terrific weekend was had by all in our group of 11 friends. Plenty of space to mingle together and a very large dining table for group dinners. Beautiful view out over the Derwent and walking track in front of house that went along the river. If you need to use all the bedrooms just be aware that one small bedroom, that is next to one of the lounge rooms and large TV, has a sliding door that does not go all the way to the ceiling. The person in that room found it very noisy. Would highly recommend for groups and family get togethers.

Family getaway with the lot
We had a fantastic stay at your house. The location was breathtaking, the house was fabulous and accommodated all 20 of us easily. The views looking over the river were beautiful. The dolphins even came and put on a show. So many wow factors. Your house was perfect for our family getaway to celebrate a milestone birthday. We hope to go back one day.

Amazing property in the best waterfront location
Amazing grand designer house, just incredible!! We wow from breathtaking water views... this property is in a prime location, immaculately clean and with everything needed for a great stay. I can’t recommend this home highly enough it’s the best. We had family members from overseas who were very overwhelmed by this AMAZING place. We were so sad to leave. I would love to come back again! A fabulous home!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. We were a large group of adults and children and found this beautiful home close to perfect for us. There was plenty of room inside and out to relax, cook, play cricket and enjoy our time together. The house is beautiful as well as comfortable. All amenities required were supplied i.e. lots of towels, body wash, coffee cups, bin liners etc. We were warmly welcomed by Lee and Karen who proudly showed us through their home and were great to deal with.

Lovely waterviews!
A superb location for our 40th reunion! The house is surrounded by water on 3 sides so you could look out of bed over the water! After our day trips around Hobart, it was a treat to wine and dine overlooking the waterviews. Thanks to our genial host Lee who went out of his way to get a coffee plunger for us!

Absolutely Amazing
Wow! This place is amazing. The view is unforgettable and picturesque. The house is in a corner waterfront position surrounded by breathtaking water views. So much space for a large group, it's in a fantastic location, close to supermarkets.The amenities were outstanding and our kids absolutely loved it. The property was exactly as advertised,it has the largest kitchen, dinning table and TV area that I have ever seen, it is perfect for large groups.one week stay is not enough, I wished I'd lived there!! General comments from guests were "best house we have stayed in," we had a fantastic time, thank you so much Lee, everyone who stayed has recommended this House.

Nice and spacious
We were a family group of twelve and found the house big enough to accommodate us all and we definitely weren't tripping over each other. The dining table was fantastic that we could all sit around together with room to spare. And with three kids they could all sit at the island bench while food was being prepared. The kids all loved seeing the rabbits hopping around and the ducks and swans on the water. Lee provided plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash so you don't have to bring your own. It is a great place to stay if you have a large family or group but there were a few negatives. On arriving the host Lee told us not to touch the windows as a special cleaner would need to attend. This made us feel very uncomfortable during our stay. On the website with pictures there is a picture of the bedroom with bunks which is not of a room in the house. So it's not a true representation of the facilities of the house. There were bunk beds in the cinema room which meant you couldnt use it at night as it was a bedroom, so there are only six bedrooms and the media room not seven. The cinema room which is also a bedroom was very hot as had no windows, no fans and air con though Lee did bring a fan the next day along with another two keys as we only received one key on check in . We were told no more keys available on check in. There were no chairs or lounges on the balcony so couldn't sit out and enjoy the view that the host enthuses about. There were external bedroom doors and windows locked with no keys supplied which is a fire hazard as well as needed for ventilation .

The property is as advertised 7 bedrooms large living areas and one separate 5 lounge T. V. Fotel area downstairs with breathtaking water views .there is also a famous children's Foxtell T. V retreat room. The property is fully heating /cooling and fly screens on windows for opening windows in the bedrooms and multiple keys on hooks and your stay should never have been an exception regardless .
