We loved the cottage. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for four people. Loved having the fire. Close to the airport and we would love to come again.

Wish could stay longer. The cottage has everything you need. The jacuzzi was amazing they even have candle in the cupboard and lavender salt for both.

Expected better.

Given the reviews, I was expecting better rather than average. It’s a spacious light and airy property. However, the property it close to the road and was woken up by trucks early each morning. Was disappointed with the kitchen equipment too, as both frying pans were warped, one being unusable on an electric hob. We were only supplied with one towel each for a 5 night stay. Would not recommend.

😀 Das Charles Reuben Estate ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr geräumig mit einem besonderen Flair. Es ist in einer ruhigen Weingegend angesiedelt. 🙁 Wir wollten den BBQ benutzen, dieser war aber derart schmutzig, dass wir unser Stück Fleisch in der Pfanne gebraten haben. Schade dass beim Schlafzimmer kein Badezimmer vorhanden ist, wer ab und zu in der Nacht raus muss hat nicht gerade Freude die Treppen hinunter und wieder hinauf.

Cute tidy getaway

This is such a cute little getaway spot "close" to Hobart. Stayed on the weekend for a girls birthday weekend holiday, the property was tidy and clean. Cannot fault this place at all, highly recommend.

Very effective wood heater and a/c. Very comfortable bed, but could be a bit difficult at night for anyone with mobility difficulties, with the main bedroom being upstairs, but both toilets downstairs.

Comfortable Wine Estate !!!

Very nice of winery owner, have are good red wine and white wine. Large house, all facilities are available and there is a chimney stove for heating.

Gemütliches Cottage mit gemütlichem Feuerofen!

Wunderschönes Cottage in den Weinbergen etwa 8 Km von Richmond entfernt. Das Cottage ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort Wohl darin. Der Schlafraum im ersten Stock ist nicht gerade optimal vor allem weil er kein Bad/WC hat. In der Nacht die Treppen runter ist nicht sehr angenehm! Küchenutensilien könnten in besserem Zustand sein (Bratpfannen haben alle krumme Böden) Gemütlich ist der Feuerofen für den kühlen Abend!

Excellent stay, would definitely come back again !

Experience there was great. The only thing is that we didn't have spent enough nights at this place. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. This place is well located, a 35 minutes drive from Hobart, 5 minutes drive from Richmond city centre. House is beautiful, decoration looks new and the house is spacious. Hosts were very kind and ready to assist in everything.

We only stayed one night, but the cottage would be great for a week too, for a couple or family. Clean, tidy, all comforts, good location for the Richmond/Coal River area.

absolutely outstanding

perfect perfect perfect. The house was so well equipped we didn't need anything. it was so great for our two year old daughter. appropriate Baby Gates and kids cutlery and plates provided. The Baby lambs across the road were a favourite for our daughter.

Fantastic getaway in an ideal location

We stayed in the Pinot Cottage at Charles Reuben Estate on a weekend trip to Tasmania. The cottage is exceptionally appointed with a great fireplace, large TV, free fast WiFi, large spa and shower, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. It is situated on a hill overlooking a vineyard and the surrounding Coal River Valley, and we saw several wild possums and kangaroos during our stay. Activities nearby include a Zoodoo zoo, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (our pick), many great wineries, berry picking farms, chocolate and cheese factory, whisky distillery, and the historic Richmond town. The estate is an easy 30 minute drive from Hobart, or just under two hours from Launceston Airport with many quaint little towns along the way. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation on a romantic getaway and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charles Reuben Estate to anyone planning a trip to Tasmania or the Coal River Valley area.
