My stay at the Comfort Inn in Hobart, Indiana, was one of the most appalling hotel experiences I have ever had. It was truly inexcusable how horrendous this hotel was from the moment I arrived.
Upon entering, the elevator was absolutely filthy. The disregard for cleanliness continued into the hallways, where trash was scattered across the floor on the way to my room. However, nothing could have prepared me for the state of the room itself – it was utterly disgusting.
The issues were endless: the bathroom sink handle was broken, rendering it difficult to use. The air conditioner was covered in a splattered brown substance, which was nauseating to even look at. To top it all off, the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable, making a good night's sleep impossible.
This was a truly horrible experience. The only reason I endured it was due to checking in near 1 AM, leaving me with no other viable options at such a late hour. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. The lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance is unacceptable.
