"Booked our room last minute and got a great deal! Walked into to a clean room, no musky old room smell and a beach view with a balcony. I thought the hotel was maintained well overall for an older building. Appreciated the parking garage and easy beach access. Cleaning crew was always moping up wet areas from the pool or beachgoers. Hotel check in was easy and friendly. 10/10 would stay here again. Right by the pier too."

"View is worth it, but a lot of minor issues. Pros: great location and great view. Ocean-front balcony was super nice! Bed was comfy. The pool was big and had cool features, and there were a lot of games/activities on the grounds. (Corn hole, standing shuffleboard, etc.). The small diner (not free) was tasty as well. Cons: my husband saw some dark hair in the bathroom, the sink had a weird drain (you have to stick your finger in the dirty water and press it down to open the drain). The staff sent us to a 7-11 that was not close and not in the best area. A few hours later we were walking on the boardwalk and saw a hotel right next door with a convenience store! Hallways didn’t feel super clean, but first floor common areas were nice. There was a strong smell of gas by the pool, which we reported. I guess they sorted it out. Bar is good for drinks but the food is meh."
