Cozy cottage on natural plot

This holiday home is suitable for cozy vacations year-round. The house is insulated and heated with a heat pump, wood stove, and electric radiators.



Outdoors

The house is located on a lovely nature plot covered with heather and trees, where the sun shines down all day (when it is out). There are daily visits from roe deer, squirrels, birds, etc. The house has several terraces. There are 2 covered terraces, one facing south and the other facing west. Additionally, there are 2 small uncovered terraces, one facing east and south, and the other facing south and west. The terraces have 2 large tables that can be used separately or combined for more people. There are 8 chairs with cushions for the tables. The furniture is lightweight and therefore easy to move around as desired. Additionally, there are 3 good lounge chairs, 1 hanging chair, a swing, and a Weber charcoal grill. There are also several outdoor games for children and adults.

When you feel the need for something new, you can walk on the large wide sandy beach in Sejerø Bay, just 400 m from the house. The beach is protected shallow water and particularly suitable for children. If you walk a little down the beach, you will come to a cozy and cool beach cafe 'Haveje', where you can sit and enjoy a beer, an ice cream, a burger, or something else from the menu.

The house is located near Sjællands Odde, where you can buy freshly caught fish, near Rørvig, where you can eat fish at the harbor or enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants or play mini golf, close to the market town of Nykøbing Sjælland with many restaurants and shops, as well as a harbor, and very close by are Vig and Højby, where there are many supermarkets. In autumn, spring, and winter, there are opportunities for some really lovely walks in the area or for excursions in the hilly landscape and the many small cozy towns.



Indoor

The house is 90 square meters, newly renovated with white wooden ceilings and walls. It is suitable for the family to engage in their own activities at the same time in the large spacious living room or, of course, cozy up together with a board game at the dining table or enjoy a warm cup of cocoa and a good movie in front of the fireplace. If you are not outside enjoying the summer of course.

Sleeping arrangements. There is a completely newly renovated bedroom with 2 sleeping spaces and new flooring, new beds, new duvets, and new furnishings. The bedroom has access to one of the terraces. There is also a completely newly renovated room with 2 sleeping spaces in a 1½ person bed (140 cm wide), new flooring, new beds, new duvets, and new furnishings. Additionally, there are 2 sleeping spaces in a bunk bed in a small annex, which is not insulated. Furthermore, there is a baby cot that can be unfolded.

The bathroom is completely newly renovated with new flooring, a new toilet, a new sink with a cabinet, and a lovely large shower.

The rest of the house consists of a quite large room with a kitchen, dining area, and living room.

The kitchen is well-equipped and has a refrigerator and freezer with 2 drawers, new stove, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kitchen appliances, and everything you need. From the kitchen, there is access to the backyard and the annex through a stable door.

The dining area consists of a large table, a bench, and 5 chairs as well as a high chair. From the dining area, you have a view of the south-facing part of the garden through a large floor-to-ceiling window. It is cozy to sit here, play games, and look out into nature.

The living room has large floor-to-ceiling windows facing the west part of the garden and sliding doors. There are 2 good large soft cozy sofas from which you can see over the western part of the garden as well as a large smart TV. Additionally, there is a cozy nook with a rocking chair and a guitar. There are many indoor games for children and adults, as well as a selection of books. There is internet and a speaker for smartphones.
