“Absolutely loved my stay as a solo traveller. I can’t express enough how lovely the couple are who run this place. You will be dropped off and picked up from the mountain of your choosing. Definitely do the added breakfast and enjoy at least one dinner here! The snow wasn’t the best but this cottage made my time amazing!! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery. The host, Craig, is truly exceptional — friendly, hardworking, and constantly going out of his way to make sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The location feels remote in the best possible way, offering a peaceful and authentic Japanese experience surrounded by mountains and nature. And the coffee… wow.
