House was very clean and spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. Had everything needed and lovely garden for dogs to run around. Family loved the pool and jacuzzi. Definitely recommend. Perfect for large families.

The cottage was warm and welcoming on arrival with lovely christmas decorations and a basket of goodies. The log burner was perfect for cold evenings. It was ideally positioned for sightseeing. The local pub across the road is ideal for an evening meal or just drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ...

The last Roman soldiers left Britain in 407 AD and the Roman way of life slowly disappeared. People drifted away from the towns to the countryside and returned to a simpler way of life.
