“Overall our stay was good. The little beach front a frame was adequate accommodation but needs a little TLC. The A/C went out the first day we were there but the host had to window units installed quick which worked fine until the next morning when a repairman came and fixed the unit. The A/C worked fine afterwards but is completely rusted out and needs replaced. The house gave a feel of old rustic cabin that needed the cobwebs cleaned from the ceiling and an overall deep cleaning. The place is……

“We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean and well appointed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch/balcony where we could see the ocean (or, at night, hear it). We liked the location and that the neighborhood was so quiet (we were there in early March). We chose the house because it is dog-friendly. We lost our 13-year old pup just before our scheduled arrival and decided to go ahead and make the trip. It was a good decision. This house was a wonderful place to grieve……

“Beautiful beach home, and the owner has thought of everything!! Our family loved this home and the easy access to the beach was so perfect. Having beach chairs and toys was so nice. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the outdoor shower. It was perfect for our family. Communication with the owner was easy and she checked on us to make sure everything was just right.”

“My husband and I came with our 2 children (9 and 6) and could not have been more pleased! It has a wonderful view from the crows nest and we were surprised at how much of the ocean and beach we could see from the porch, as well! A super short walk to the public access made for on and off beach trips easy and painless. Communication with the host was quick, efficient, kind and super helpful. “Place was exactly as described, clean, and perfect for a large family. Even though it was in June, the pool tends to be in the shade so the water was a bit cold. Paid extra to heat it and the family was much happier. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall it was an enjoyable stay. We had a short walk to the beach and it was a quiet stay overall. Definitely meant for 6 people and not 8 (advertised for 8) it works for 8 if you bring a blow up/sleep on couch(es). Property own was out of town and thankful that they had a back up number in town to be able to get into the house as we received the code after our check in time. Overall a good stay and would stay again”

“House was very convenient and comfortable for our stay. Had some roaches and bugs we seen in the house. Did not bother a bunch of men but the wife would have had a cow! Appliances getting some wear and tear on them. Never could get the dishwasher to start and had to always put paper towels under coffee maker. All in all trip was a success and would like to return if things are addressed and updated.”

“Why would someone design a home, especially with a pool, and place the kitchen 3 flights of stairs from the pool? I would recommend a full size refrigerator poolside. Also, management should have a better understanding of what the property does and does not have versus suggesting that everything should be rented. Seems to be a lazy approach to property management.”

“This was our second time here and we had a very nice stay. The beach is an easy short walk. The cottage is comfortable and thoughtfully outfitted. I appreciated being able to use the beach chairs and not have to pack some in the car. I noticed the other items available such as coolers, a small charcoal grill and pails and shovels. It is obvious that the owner has put thought in to what is available. Appreciated the Keurig and large screen TVs. Often I find myself challenged in terms of equipment……
