Beautiful Place

Sugar Hill was the most superb resort, we loved staying in the villa Frangipani - it was gorgeous accomodation, clean and spacious and well equipped . The views, the plunge pool and outside covered terrace were lovely The Deck Bar and Resturant served great cocktails and lunches, staff were very welcoming and the infinity pool and sundeck area were fabulous. Thank you to Blue Sky for organising us so well. Lovely to have the airport transfers, the welcome packs and car hire all efficiently arranged . We had the best holiday and it was fantastic to be back in Barbados 2022.

It couldn't have been more perfect - thank you!

My husband and I stayed at this place for our honeymoon and it was everything we'd hoped for. The property itself was beatiful, spacious and immaculate - we particularly appreciated that the house was cleaned regularly during our stay, and getting our laundry done was a massive perk as it made returning home easier too. We enjoyed spending time on the balconies in the early evening, relaxing and taking in the views before heading out to one of the many nearby restaurants. There was an amazing amount of top-quality eateries only a short distance away - particular favourites for us were The Lone Star (great service, beautiful setting on the beach), Nishi (best sushi I've ever had) and The Cliff (just breathtaking, in every way). The location in general was fantastic - we made the most of the beach club on Mullins Beach, where we were glad to find plenty of available sun loungers and enjoyed moving freely between the beach and the restaurant/bar, which had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. There were watersports available, so we had a go on jet skis, which was a lot of fun! The convenience of the facilities on-site really added to the luxury - there is a gorgeous infinity pool about a minute's walk from the house, where there's also a restaurant/bar, so you can really just do nothing, go nowhere and still bask in the gorgeous climate and surroundings. All together, this made one of the most luxurious, fun and special holidays of my life - highly recommended!

Comfortable house with lots of breezes and sun

We enjoyed our 2-week stay. The pools, gym, tennis courts and restaurant are close by, and the staff was friendly and helpful.The property is 2 km off the main road so a car is a must and if you're not accustomed to driving on the left it is a challenge. The kitchen is quite adequate although the ice maker does not dispense ice. The bedrooms were comfortable although the first floor bedroom is dark due to the added children's room which we didn't use. Mike was responsive regarding the lack of internet (the passcode posted for guests was wrong) and the TV. Everything was working by day 2. There are many light switches in this house and it took time to learn what operated what, and the light over the dining table did not work at all. This was an issue for us because we like jigsaw puzzles and they were difficult to do in the evening because of the lack of light over the table. The bed linens were OK, but the second upstairs bedroom with two beds had a very nice coverlet for one bed but only a tattered blanket for the other. The bath linens are thin and some are frayed so they need to be replaced or extra towels provided. We asked the housekeeper for extra towels but never received them. The housekeeper is a lovely person but works very slowly and spent 7-8 hours twice a week in the house; it felt intrusive and it's not clear to me what she was doing in all that time. She was new to the job so it may be that she doesn't understand her job; I advised Mike about this as we were leaving. We enjoyed Barbados very much; the beach club membership that came with the house was a great perk. It provided a parking space, free chairs, towels and umbrellas each time we went to that beach. I would recommend this house, but I think it needs a little TLC.

Asmara and the team in Barbados were instantly responsive to our problems, thanks! The accommodation was very good but a couple of the beds could have been better and it would be nice if at least one room had a King size bed.

Frangipani Family Fun

We had a fabulous time, frangipani is a perfect villa for our family. I only have one negative a d that is regarding a lack of shade for the sun beds . We would definitely book again though

Great stay at Frangipani with the family!

We have just returned from our stay at Frangipani. It’s a great house with lots of space - the pics don’t do it justice. You do probably need a car due to the properties location but it’s on a very secure resort & you have full use of the facilities ie large communal swimming pools/gym etc plus access to the Beach Club at Mullins Beach. The pool at the house was larger than we were expecting.....pool loungers could probably do with being updated & a sun umbrella would have been really useful but it looks out across lovely manicured gardens and the ocean in the distance. Claire, the housekeeper came 3 times during our 8 day stay. She is present in the house whilst you are there but cleaned & changed the linen & towels on one occasion. She also helped with our laundry (which there was quite a bit of) but do be aware that they keep the laundry room locked, so you don’t have access to the washing machine or dryer if you need to do any laundry on her days off. Overall we had a lovely stay and with a couple of tweaks here & there, it would have been be a 5 star stay. Would definitely recommend to any family looking for accommodation near Holetown.

As a family, Frangipani gives you everything you need in Barbados - including space. The house is lovely and facilities at Sugar Hill are excellent.

Fantastic family villa!

We are a family of 5 (three girls aged 9, 7 and 4), the bedrooms were huge and plenty of storage space. The plunge pool is a very good size too. The amenities are superb too with two large communal pools which were normally empty. Carizma restaurant was a big hit too with children’s meals and great snacks. Only down side was the size of the bed in the master, we are used to a Superking but the bed was a queen size 🙈. We will definitely be back!! The house keepers was good too and did all washing etc, giving us a break from housework for a week. Highly recommend.

A Fabulous Stay at Frangipani Villa in Sugar Hill Resort!

Clean, spacious, gorgeous views, immaculate grounds, resort amenities and access to a lovely beach club sums up this holiday rental. Frangipani has the privacy of your own holiday villa with the benefits of a resort (pools, tennis courts, beach access). It is the best of all worlds. We were a party of 3 adults and 4 kids and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay including the pools at Sugar Hill Resort and access to the Royal Westmoreland Beach Club on Mullins Beach. Villa - 4 bedrooms including a children's annex that was ideal for our 2 youngest. Clean and spacious bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen and comfy living room. There were 3 outdoor spaces: lower level with your very own plunge pool and gas grill, and 2 balconies off of the upstairs bedrooms both with views over the lawn and out to the Caribbean sea. We cooked some meals in the villa and the kitchen is well-stocked and there is a large and modern grocery store is less than 10 minutes away. One day the grounds keepers were trimming the coconut trees and brought over fresh coconuts. With fresh lime and rum courtesy of Claire the house keeper it was an amazing cocktail! And let me take a moment to talk about Claire. She came to the villa 3 times during our stay and was so warm and wonderful. She is the reason the villa is in pristine condition and she added to our enjoyment of the villa. She was such a pleasure to get to know. Location - Ideal if you want to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of town but still less than 5 minutes drive to the lower or upper highways and beach towns of Holetown, Mullins Beach, etc. The villa is located in Sugar Hill Resort which has many amenities including tennis courts, 2 pools, and a restaurant with views down to the sea. There is security at the main entrance and the grounds are immaculate. We swam in the main infinity pool, with its gorgeous views of the seas, and ordered meals and cocktails at the restaurant which is extremely convenient if you don't want to cook or go into town. We had a car which made going to town and visiting the entire island very easy to do. Mullins Beach club access was a 5-minute drive down the hill. There are sun loungers, towels and a full-service restaurant and bar. Parking is free and service was friendly. Owners - all communications were extremely prompt and Alex was super easy to deal with. I can, without any hesitation or reservations, recommend this villa and would gladly book this property again

Good, but could have been better

We spent two weeks at Frangipani and our overall experience was a good one. It's a nice house and Claire, the housekeeper, went out of her way to make us comfortable. However, we did have a couple of hiccoughs -- only two of the burners on the electric stove were working and the oven wouldn't heat. This made it a pain to try to prepare any meals and we ended up having to take a pan of cake batter to be put in the oven at a friend's house when we were supposed to take a cake for dessert. A couple of minor things that would enhance the overall experience would be the installation of a handrail for the pool, a shelf or caddy in the shower in the master bathroom to hold toiletries, and a second sink in the master bathroom. If these fixes were made (especially the appliances and the handrail), would we stay there again? Most definitely!

Excellent Property

Our family of 6 had a lovely stay over March Break. The house is beautiful and we had more than enough space. The private pool was amazing and was used daily. The villa also had access to 2 large shared pools. Quiet overall. The owners were very receptive to our inquiries and also provided both a house manager and housekeeper for our needs. Highly recommend!!!
