Nice Stay!

This property is very nice, clean, close to town, and love the hot tub! Communication with the owner/manager was helpful and easy to understand and love the fact that they allow pets.

Great Weekend Getaway

Had a great weekend with my husband and two friends here. Good space for cooking, playing games, and hanging out. Plus, the hot tub was a welcome addition to the stay in this winter weekend getaway! Thanks for having us!

Very clean and updated

Great place - cleanest ever. Great experience overall. Nicely decorated, every possible convenience. Very responsive and nice customer sevice.Two limitations -- not a great location for Saugatuck, advertised as sleeping 8 - 3 bedrooms and a fold out sleeper couch. It is not usuable -- the mattress was a box spring and just not made for sleeping on. Owner needs to replace this.

Amazing Place!

Fantastic location, minutes from Douglas and Saugatuck. It was super close to Douglas beach too! I had to change my dates and it was tough to get a hold of someone to change the dates. I had to get someone from VRBO to reach out to the property management. The only other thing was that they ask you to do a lot of house cleaning when the cleaning fee is pretty high. But I still think the house and the process getting checked in is great. So still a five star for us! Thank you!

Cute house

Well maintained property. Adorable house. Neighborhood is not a walkable neighborhood, there are a few blocks without sidewalks that are residential, otherwise you’re right on Douglas highway, but very close to downtown Saugatuck. You could walk downtown, but definitely not safely with small kids or pets. Surprisingly quiet street with A2 being right there. The house is adorable. Small fenced in back yard. Very clean. The secondary bedrooms had comfortable mattresses. My biggest complaint would be the master’s mattress. Our family really enjoyed our stay. We went to oval beach and downtown in our short stay. The house was great for a fall getaway! Highly recommend!

Summer visit to Saugatuak

We enjoyed this house very much. It was walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the village. Just a half block from the old highway so easy drive to the beaches from here. The house is comfortable and nicely laid out. My cousin came for one night and picked the front bedroom but found it was not dark enough and moved to the back bedroom and had a good nights rest. The backyard is fully enclosed making it so nice for our dog to go outside and not escape. The hot tub was a great treat after a day of walking and exploring. The kitchen is very nice size with 3 chairs at center island. We did not cook but it would have been a breeze in this home. Overall we were very pleased with our stay of three nights at the 511.

Summer in Saugatuck

Great backyard, very private and fenced in for pups. The home was very clean. It would have been nice to have a bit more seating in the family room and beach chairs for guests to use. Otherwise no complaints.

We had a great stay at the Five Eleven! Good location near Saugatuck/Douglas. The house was extremely clean and spacious, with lots of beds/bathrooms and room to spread out. You do have to cross a main road to walk to downtown Saugatuck but it is definitely a doable 15 minute walk. We enjoyed the backyard and hot tub!

Wonderful house and location.

This house was perfect for our needs. We were a family group of 5 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog. The house is clean, welcoming, nicely decorated, and well stocked. The location is close to so many fun things to do. We went into the charming town, walked along the beautiful harbor, visited beaches, galleries, restaurants, etc. We had the best time!!!

Quiet location. Good location to Naugatuck and Oval Beach. Modern house with nice kitchen and baths. Bedrooms located to give privacy to everyone. The hot tub is a nice feature. I definately recommend this house!

Great Stay! Loved the layout of the home and fenced yard.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 20 yr son & bernedoodle. 15 Minute fast walk to Saugatuck restaurants or Douglas. Hot tube was nice for relaxing in the evening.

Perfect Saugatuck getaway

We spent a week here and this house met all of our needs as a family. its in a convenient location and close driving distance to Saugatuck/Douglas. My kids loved the hot tub and we enjoyed cooking and having meals outside on the deck and making s’mores in the fire pit. The layout of house and number of bedrooms was fitting for our group of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids aged 3 and 6). The fenced in yard was grear for our small dog too! It was the perfect summer getaway house!

We had to "share" the rental with Landscapers

My family had 1 full day at this place. And for over 6 hours there were landscapers there making a ton of noise and invading our space that we wanted to be relaxing in the backyard. They let my dog out by having the fence open hauling mulch back and forth from the driveway. They also blocked our cars in the driveway and we had to keep talking to them to coordinate musical cars. Owner isn't taking ANY responsibly and is basically saying tough luck, that they had no way of knowing when people THEY hired to come do work on their property were actually going to be there. Seriously? They never even notified us that there would be people doing work during our stay. Extremely frustrated to say the least. Never had a VRBO experience like this before. My dog could've been hit by a car. We paid $1200 to babysit landscapers during our planned vacation. Book with caution, they may be getting a new roof without their knowledge during your next stay...

September weekend

The property was clean and tidy. Backyard was fully fenced and our dogs loved the space. The hot tub amd fire pit were very nice too. Beautifully landscaped yards and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay & Close to everything!

We had an excellent stay at The 511! From the moment I booked communication was efficient and the check in process was the easiest. The house itself was VERY clean and welcoming and the beds were comfortable with an abundance of blankets and pillows. The 511 was a very short 2-5minute drive from everything and you could technically walk to the downtown area but there is a lack of sidewalks on Blue Arrow Hwy which make it a little dangerous but that’s how close it is to everything! The neighborhood was small and quiet. Overall we had a GREAT stay and would highly recommend The 511 to others staying in Saugatuck!

Great Spot in Saugatuck!

We loved our stay here! Check in process was easy and the space fit 7 easily. We did encounter a broken coffee pot on arrival, but they delivered a brand new one within hours. GREAT location close to Saugatuck and in a quiet neighborhood. I think a few other reviews noted this, but the water did taste funny from the faucet, so we ended up buying some outside of the house. Absolutely loved the mornings on the back porch!

Amazing Stay!

7 of us stayed here for a bachelorette weekend getaway and it was perfect! The home was clean, hot tub was an added plus and we were walking distance to so many places! The beach was a quick drive away and plenty of space for 7 of us! The pull out couch was not the comfiest, but all the actual beds were. I would definitely come back if I find myself in Saugatuck again!

Perfect for groups

This was perfect for 6 adults and 2 little dogs- 3 couples, each with quite private rooms. Kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms very clean. Hot tub was nice, but dirty upon our arrival. Easy check in and out, and the secluded backyard was perfect for the dogs.

Short trip

We enjoyed our time in Sagatuck. It was a cute town with lots to do nearby for a short trip. Loved the place and cute backyard. Beds were a little hard and no tvs in any of bedrooms. Overall was a nice trip. Would come back.

Perfect retreat

This is our second stay at The 511. We love the layout of the place and it is perfect for our family trips. The decor is simple and clean and is a very relaxing space for us. We hope to try it again in the summertime.
