Pet friendly country cottage with large fenced-in yard & horses on property

  • Just a short drive from Charleston or Columbia is a relaxing little cottage just waiting for you. Looking for a mini vacation but don’t want to drive for hours? Get out of the traffic of I-95 and enjoy the slow pace as well, or if you are coming in for a family reunion, wedding or any other reason, we’ve got just what you need. Our Little Red Cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and is fully stocked with all your needs. Plush bedding, full size kitchen and lots of little extras to make you want to stay even longer. Watch the deer cross the horse pasture daily from the kitchen window or sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and enjoy it all. The front yard is fully fenced and the cottage is pet friendly, so you are welcome to bring your fur babies with you. It's a great place for the dogs to stretch their legs and play safely while traveling. We have over 160 acres of planted pines and trails, so just let us know if you want to get out and walk the trails (weather permitting). Book your stay soon!

In all our travel stays, we have never been so impressed with a host. The communication was excellent, our questions were answered promptly, and the kindness and attentiveness in making sure our stay was 100%, was unmatched. This little cottage was just as described, clean, beautiful, and had everything we enjoy at home. The kitchen was spacious and we enjoyed making coffee and sitting on the front porch in the mornings and watching the dogs play in the fenced-in front lawn. It was a distant drive to where we needed to attend our event, but it was our choice to do so, and we do not regret it at all. It was worth the peaceful quietness to stay among a little nature and revive our stressful lives for just a little while.

Lovely Overnight Stay

We had a wonderful stay in this cute, comfy, clean little red house. We didn’t have any pets with us to enjoy the puppy accommodations but we humans were very comfortable there. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage on a spacious property with large field in view. Our dog was very happy there and seemed delighted when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and the baked goods were amazing!

Great spot to rest and stretch our legs!

I stayed here with my toddler and dogs, and it was a perfect place to rest on our long road trip! The dogs loves the outdoor area, and the house has everything that you could need, and more!

Perfect cottage to rest on a road trip

It’s located right off 95, beats the hell out of any hotel I’ve ever stayed, perfect for traveling with a pet and the owners are so nice and accommodating! Can’t wait to go back on our next road trip! Very scenic area!

Had such a wonderful birthday stay-cation here! This is a lovely little cottage. No complaints at all. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils and gadgets. My two little dogs loved the fenced yard, and we spent most of our stay playing outside. Kay was very kind and obviously an animal lover, which was such a plus! The cottage was very comfortable and super clean. I’ll definitely try to stay here again. Thank you!

Haven of Rest

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy access from I-95.Less than an hours drive to Old Town Charleston. We loved it.We plan on staying here next year on our way through.

We stayed one night with our little dog Cooper. The accommodations are totally pet friendly and Kay was extremely attentive. The cottage is so cute and completely equipped. We would certainly stay again!

Cozy

We stay at a lot of rentals for vacations and this was definitely top 3. It’s beautifully decorated, cozy, clean, and had everything our family needed for our stay. We felt safe and welcome and it’s a huge bonus that we got to bring our dog too!
