Home by the Sea

Views, Views, Views! This reverse floor plan homes captures the 180 degree water views perfectly. Recently rennovated kitchen with granite, stainless appliances and fully stocked with new dishes and cookware to entertain! New laminate flooring througout PLUS a heated sunroom on the top floor to watch the set set, boats and birds on the ICWW & a distant view of the overhead bridge. Each bedroom has its own bath. Outdoor shower, lawn, carport for ease. Beach access directly across from home.
Please note that linens are not included in this rental.

Gorgeous view of the sounds

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The house had a fantastic view of the sounds and intracoastal water way from the sun room and 2nd floor deck off the master bedroom. We were able to watch the boats go by, see lots of water birds and even spotted an eagle. The beach access is very convenient. There is a sand walkway right across the street to cut across the block to the next street over and then left a few yards to the beach access. The house was very clean and the bed and furniture was very comfortable. The restaurants were very good too. I highly recommend Big Daddy Mac’s, The Crab Pot, JMs on the Water, Santorini and Sunrise Bagel. I highly recommend Home by the Sea!

Peaceful getaway

This house in Topsail Beach is amazing! The property is exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was clean and easy to find. The home was incredibly comfortable and was more than enough room for three adults and one dog. The backyard was wonderful and it was great to see the bunnies everyday. The beach access was just across two streets but super easy to get to. We ordered a steam pot from Topsail Steamers and it was delicious. We didn't really go out to eat but just needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life so we stayed at the property the entire weekend. I would definitely recommend this place and I'll be booking again in the future! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home by the sea with us!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful stay at Home by the Sea! The property is beautiful and conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and a short drive from shops and dining. The outdoor shower was a lifesaver when returning from a day of fun with sand-covered kids. Everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen as well as on the grill was supplied. Most importantly, our host, Tracy, was lovely, answering all of our questions and exceeding our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!

Views, plenty of room, close to it all

Lovely views of the marsh, and we had fun seeing bunnies and birds. The beach is close, and although it’s a busy road to cross the trail js right there and it’s an easy quick walk for beach access. Plus there is an outdoor shower, and that made everything easy. I love cooking and certainly missed my pots and pans but it was a lovely stay and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. It was an easy process.

Perfect family getaway

This rental was just perfect. Plenty of space. Very well kept. Kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook meals. It is beautifully decorated with even more beautiful views. A quick walk (closer than we expected) to the beach, with easy access. The outdoor shower was so convenient. On top of that, Tracy was more than kind and hospitable. We had some personal hiccups while traveling and she went over and beyond to make sure we still had an enjoyable vacation. I cant thank her enough for her kindness and prompt communication. We travel quite frequently and this was a top tier stay for us. Thank you for sharing your home, Tracy!!

Perfect Relaxing Beach Getaway

We stayed in this area for my brothers Marine graduation ceremony, otherwise we most likely would have never vacationed in this area but we were pleasantly surprised about how much we enjoyed it. The house was amazing with great views, especially in the sun room. Very short walk to the beach, which was not crowded at all and perfect for our two toddlers to run around without worrying too much. The outdoor shower was a lifesaver to keep everything as clean as possible. We would definitely stay here again.

Short walking distance to the beach

Check in was a breeze, home is modern, bright and has amazing views. The blankets and comforters that were provided were like new and also clean. Some beach chairs were provided and the beach cart was a huge help. The only downfall, the previous family's pet left all the windows a mess along with the furniture which we had to take care of on our own, wouldn't be a huge deal if I wasn't already paying a cleaning fee.

Fantastic stay!

We enjoyed immensely are two week stay at Home by the Sea. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The house is centrally located on the island. Tracy was very quick to reply to my questions. I would definitely return and recommend this property.

Beautiful property. Loved the view from the sunroom. Beautiful sunsets.

Nice location (1 mile south of the center of Surf City). Beautiful home. Everything was clean and neat. Suggestion; could use a large skillet/frying pan, 9x13 baking pan, cereal bowls and plastic containers for leftovers. Overall, we loved it. Thanks sharing this fabulous home.
