"This was our second year at Blue Hill Cottage. Once again, we loved everything about it. The cottage is charming, and well appointed. The host is warm and welcoming, easy to access and talk to, yet also respectful of our privacy. The location is beautiful. Simply put, it checks ALL the boxes!"

"Very interesting art and knickknacks in the space, so cool! We kept noticing new ones. We were making our annual pilgramage to the Fair and the location was wonderful. Could not figure how to make coffee work but had everything else we needed. Beds were so comfy we all overslept and the living room provided wonderful time shared with our adult children."

"A well located flat with a well appointed kitchen. Near groceries, Brooklin, Deer Isle, and a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia.The AC unit in the back bedroom was rather loud, but the flat was cool and comfortable. The back bedroom mattress also sagged and was rather creaky. Both front bedrooms were much more comfortable, but our group needed to use all three. The one bathroom is small, and the shower ceiling is sloped and a little tricky to navigate for taller folks."

"We had a truly spectacular stay at Kate and Denny's property. They are extremely thoughtful and gracious hosts. The house is extremely comfortable, with plenty of seating (both indoors and outdoors) for both dining and relaxing. It is extremely clean. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking tools (including pots, pans, dishes) as well as oil, vinegar, spices, and butter (of which they encourage use). The showers are excellent, with great water pressure, and the towels are fantastic. There is a fire pit they encourage guests to use, as evidence by their provision of graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, and skewers for s'mores; there is also plenty of wood and kindling. The location is also perfect, with a lovely hiking trail that leads to the Blue Hill Co-Op, and many other attributes (e.g., Blue Hill Books, Bucklyn Coffee, Blue Hill Wine Market) within walking or short driving distance. There's even a baseball field and basketball court a short drive away. We would stay here again and again if we could. Thank you Kate and Denny!"
Tiny Cabin on Blue Hill Farm

"I stayed in Tiny Cabin which is perfect for solo travel. There was a glitch with VRBO and they charged me for a double occupancy. The host went above and beyond assisting me in a resolution. The pigs on the farm were amazing to watch. And great company. Impossible to be lonely with animals around. I was up for a family member’s wedding. The drive was a bit far to the town of Bar Harbor but I got used to it quickly. It was actually nice to be able to get away from the hustle & bustle of the wedding party. The farm is a peaceful retreat."
