**DOGS CONSIDERED**

This lovely home is nestled in the woods in the Tahoe Pines neighborhood on the West Shore. The Tahoe Pines HOA beach and pier is within easy walking distance, only 1/2 mile!

An elegant kitchen, remodeled living area and master bedroom round out this comfortable 3 bedroom, 3 bath dog-friendly home. The lower level features a beautiful, modern, and fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, full bathroom, laundry facilities and 1 space in the garage. Upper level has two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed (one also has a Double futon), and a full bathroom. The plush Master Suite with King bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower (no tub) and small work space is above the garage but accessible from the main part of the house.

It’s the little things that make a big impact: 60” SmartTV in the living room with Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, and every bedroom has multiple USB connectors for charging your wireless devices! Relax after a long day in the mountains in the covered hot tub surrounded by snow or play horseshoes in the back yard while you soak in the filtered sun.

Must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.).

*PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.

Our properties do not have air conditioning.

BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day)

Comfortable Home

2nd time at this property. The house is set up so when sleeping you don't even know anyone else is in the home. Great location and also has a hot tub.

OK, but not again

This property is funky....and doesn't make a lot of sense. The house, property management, and ownership all seem to be complacent with just the bare minimum. Limited thought and energy have gone into setting up the kitchen. Many items you would expect for cooking are absent. The cupboards have random leftover items from prior renters, but nothing that is intended to be useful. The bed in the primary bedroom was painfully stiff. The other mattresses, linens, blankets, pillows, and décor were dated (old), and again, limited consideration is made to providing a comfortable home. The dining table is located in the middle of the pathway of the kitchen. Although not anyone's fault, the internet is painfully limited with speeds so slow even email communication was not possible. Cell service for everyone in the group was not possible and required driving several blocks away for service. WIFI calling did not work with the slow internet. Not an issue if you're looking to get away from it all, but renters should be prepared. Mid-summer rental rates were incredibly high, especially considering all of the negative elements of this property. OK at best, but not again.

Annual Family Adventure

Our stay was amazing. A very comfortable home with plenty of space and inviting outdoor deck. A short 9 minute walk to the lake and private pier. Definitely a place to return to next year.

Nice place

Cozy clean place with charm. Appreciated the mud room to keep things clean when taking off shoes. Gas stove kept the living space and upper bedrooms warm. Great kitchen and open layout wi5 dining area. We did not have heat in the master bedroom (apparently an existing issue the manager already knew about but we were not told about beforehand) and couldn’t find any space heaters. On checkout I requested a modest refund for this issue (which they Oked) and asked that they set out space heaters for future guests. Hopefully they will get that fixed as I would consider staying here again. We like the tranquil west side, close to Homewood resort, snowshoeing at Sugar Line Point, etc.

Wonderful Place!

We arrived in between two gigantic crazy snow storms, and the Hauserman rental group (who manages the rental) was prompt with communication, ready to answer our questions on whether or not the street was snow plowed and accessible, and even when we had a maintenance problem with one of the furnaces, they promptly brought over space heaters, even after hours. Fantastic cabin, and great service! Highly recommend this house.

Great house

This was a really cozy and inviting home - I say home because it felt like one and not like a rental. Extremely well equipped kitchen, we were totally snowed in for most of our trip so had no option but to eat in. I like to cook and usually find rental kitchens lacking but this one had measuring spoons, measuring cups, really sharp knives, good selection of cooking utensils and wide range of pans a skillets with MATCHING lids. Bedding included feather and non-feather pillows so everyone was happy. The only criticism I have which is more of an observation, is that the Wi-Fi was slow so if you are bringing kids who think they are going to be able to game, forget it, although that slow speed could have been caused by the extreme weather conditions. Overall, we would definitely book this house again.

Lovely cosy cabin!

We had a great 1 week stay in Tahoe Pines, lovely place. Hot tub was great, kitchen was well equipped, the living room area was very cosy and the beds were all comfortable. Also the garage was very spacious though we didn't use it. The Hauserman Rental Group were very clear, organized, and responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!

This property is very nice. It's on a quite street. And there are alot of amenities.

We went up to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her friends. The neighborhood was very quite so the can walk around and explore. The master bedroom was on the other side of the house then the kids room so we didn't hear them gigging all night which is a plus. The house came equipped with everything ypu could need even condiments in the fridge and hot cocoa in the cupboards.

Family summer trip

The property was great. Nice quiet neighborhood and the cabin was next to family that own a cabin in the same neighborhood. Only things that need improvement were pretty minor: tv and remotes too complex; need more than one garbage bag for kitchen; would have been good to have a sponge for the kitchen as well. All in all we loved the deck, the horseshoes, and the hot tub!

WONDERFUL PROPERTY!!

Tahoe Pines in Homewood is a wonderful place to stay. Only minutes from Tahoe City and our favorite breakfast/lunch restaurant Fire Sign. This house "Popular Place" is one of the nicest homes we have rented at Tahoe. Spacious rooms, well furnished, comfortable beds, great condition, clean and well cared for. We were there for four nights and loved it!

Oasis in the forest

Amazing for a family trip rooted in self care. The house is lovely, the hot tub is nestled in the trees, the steam shower was a treat and we cooked all our meals in a fully equipped kitchen. We took our dogs and they loved being in nature! Short drives to many of the special Tahoe spots:) One of our best stays in Tahoe.

Great location for a low-key fam vacation

Perfect set up for a multi fam vacation! Great location— we didn’t want to do any winter sporting or gambling, just low key time in Tahoe. This place was perfect for that! Easy to find, right off a main road but still quiet.

Wonderful Stay

Love this cabin! Only two minor drawbacks...not one sharp knife in the house and no coffee filters were on site when we showed up which meant having to run to Tahoe City at 9pm which wasn't fun. We payed it forward by leaving the filters we purchased. Plus the coffee maker is just cheap. A good coffee setup is the beginning of a successful STR. Not sure why this awesome cabin and PM company fall flat on this account but maybe they'll up the game by the next time we come around because we will definitely recommend to our friends. Great holiday mini-week!

Great place to stay with friends and teenage kids. Bedrooms were cozy and private -- and the Master Suite was especially great for the younger set, those lucky ducks! We were skiing at Homewood, so the location was superb. I could imagine the house being especially good for warmer seasons with the large decks and the hot tub so close to the kitchen. We had a great five days. -- Only downside: a bit confusing getting emails and texts from several different senders. Might be the norm with Vrbo, but it would be so much easier to have ONE channel of communication.

Perfect Stay

I was so happy with this rental. I have rented through another popular rental site online, and I had some reservations about cleanliness. Those were unfounded, though, as this rental was clean, clean, clean. I am quite picky and this rental went beyond my expectations. The property is beautiful. It's close to a bike trail that we used, and it had a garage that we stored our bikes in. I didn't cook. I just brought some snack and breakfast foods, so I cannot comment on the equipment in the kitchen. I also brought my own Keurig as I'm attached to the thing. There was a learning curve with the spa and some of the TV remotes, but I'm sure more tech savvy people would be fine. The stairs were steep so be aware of that, but it's common with most cabins, so it didn't bother me. There were also two separate heating units so I could keep the master nice and warm and my daughter could keep the main living area cooler. The west shore is about a 50 minute drive from the south shore, but closer to the north shore of Lake Tahoe. There weren't as many restaurants in the area, but we found several options within 10 minutes away. I cannot wait to return to Lake Tahoe and would 100% recommend Homeaway Vacation Rentals. We usually travel in with our travel trailer, so it's not often I use VRBO or any rental agency. However, this is a perfect option with my husband is deployed and we will do so again. I will also be certain to look specifically for Homeaway rentals.

Classic cabin in a quuet neighbourhood

The cabin was lovely and cozy set in a very quiet neighbourhood where people walked their dogs in the street. It was tucked away from the main road with an easy drive to Tahoe City and the restraunts and easy access to the walking paths near the lake. We all enjoyed the peacefulness in good comfort

Great place

Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked, overall nice place. Hammock in the backyard, nice surprise. Coffee maker was not working and when I reached out to the rental agency they brought a new one immediately. Pretty awesome! The only negative is that the patio furniture needs to be updated. I would stay again. If bringing a dog be aware they aren’t allowed on the beds or furniture. Fine for us as ours is crate trained. Might not work for those who sleep with their pets. Yard is not fenced.

Perfect place to stay

This beautiful home was exactly as pictured. We loved the peaceful location which was near all the activities that we wanted to do to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The home was thoughtfully stocked with everything that could possibly be needed. It was roomy, clean, and nicely decorated. A big bonus was being able to use the garage to store our kayaks and bicycles. We would definitely look forward to staying here again.
