Great apartment in an excellent location

We stayed in the apartment for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious and the furniture and bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and the shower recess was spacious. We would have given the apartment a 5 star review but for a couple of minor issues. Firstly, the bedroom faces a bar which, on the Sunday night we arrived, was very noisy until about 3 am. On the other nights the noise has not been an issue, however, that could be because some of the nights have been cold and rainy. Secondly, the main shower needs some attention. The grout between the tiles is quite discoloured and the shower door leaks quite a bit, making the floor mat soaked very morning. Despite these minor issues, the apartment's location is unbeatable and the town of Hondaribbia is an absolute delight. We would have no hesitation in staying in this apartment again.

Zeer ruim, schoon en compleet appartement met schitterend zeezicht en midden in Hondarribia

We zijn al op veel plekken geweest, maar zelden zo'n heerlijk appartement gehad!! Heel compleet, netjes verzorgd, ruim, maar vooral op een absolute toplocatie! Aan de rustige wandelboulevard direct aan zee: het uitzicht is schitterend! En het ligt ook nog om de hoek bij de Kalea san Pedro, de centrale culinaire straat van Hondarribia, waar je tientallen heerlijke bar-restaurantjes vindt waar je heerlijke pintxos (tapas) kunt eten van top-kwaliteit en voor weinig geld. Ook een bakkertje om de hoek voor elke dag een vers brood, echt alles top! De auto kan iets verderop in een veilige overdekte garage worden geparkeerd, maar je hebt hem in Hondarribia zelf ook verder niet nodig, alles is goed te belopen. San Sebastian ligt op een half uurtje rijden, en is ook het bezoeken waard. Je kunt ook nog met een pontje naar Frankrijk (7 minuten over de inham naar Hendaye). Het contact met de eigenaresse verliep steeds erg vriendelijk. We hebben een heerlijk week gehad!

Sehr geräumige und gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Die Vermieterung hat uns unterstützt, wo wir es wollten. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Kneipe in der Nachbarschaft hat 1x in der Nacht etwas gestört, aber es war gut erträglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Très bel appartement , parfaitement équipé, avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer . Juste un défaut, comme il est situé en bord de mer ,le week-end prévoir les bouchons d'oreilles pour ceux qui veulent dormir quand les autres font la fête.

Séjour très agréable avec une vue mer exceptionnelle

Appartement très fonctionnel, très agréable, bien équipé, comme à la maison et bénéficie de plus d'un parking voiture très utile. L'emplacement est idéal, proche de l'embarcadère pour aller à Hendaye, proche de la vielle ville et du centre. Seul petit bémol, il faut apprécier de vivre à l'heure espagnole le vendredi et samedi soir.

A fabulous apartment in every way!

We chose Hondarribia as our base for touring the French and Spanish Basque regions and we are very glad that we did. We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. The apartment was amazing - 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, huge kitchen with everything (and more) that we needed (including a washer), and stunning views across the water to France (Hendaye) from the balcony and from the living room, dining room and master bedroom windows. The apartment was accessible by elevator, had a private parking garage (no extra fee) and was spotlessly clean and well furnished. It was within easy walking distance of the old town and the marina, just a few steps from the main shopping/restaurant area and right on the waterfront promenade. We spent our evenings on the balcony looking at the amazing views and watching the people on the promenade. The price was reasonable even though we were only a couple and didn’t need the extra rooms – we booked it because of the location and the views. All of our dealings with the managers (Miguel and Eva) were excellent. Eva met us at the apartment promptly at the appointed time – she spoke fluent English (she went to school in Ireland) and was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. This was one of the highlights of our month long holiday in Spain. There couldn't possibly be anywhere better to stay in this region than in this apartment.

Bel appartement , bien situé !

Bien situé , belle vue , à 1mn de tout le centre ville ! Au calme à cette époque de l'année , la chambre donne sur la rue derrière et donc en saison estivale .... Belle literie , les draps sont fournis donc très sympa car nous n'avions pas de draps en 160 . Parking fermé , mais un peu plus loin à 200 m . Pas de mauvaise surprise . Merci Eva !!

Die Lage und der Ort sind einfach nur schön. Das Appartment liegt günstig, man hat eine traumhafte Aussicht und lebt mitten unter den Spaniern/Basken. Die Ausstattung ist gut, wir haben jedenfalls nichts vermißt. Einen zusätzlichen Stern verdient es sich mit dem Einstellplatz für das Auto, so daß wir immer wußten, wo wir es hinstellen konnten. Parken ist leider in Hondarribia nicht so ganz einfach. Wir würden immer wieder zurück kommen.

What a fabulous Apartment, in an amazing town!

The photos and write up on this site do not do the apartment or town justice! What a fabulous apartment - very accommodating owners, meet/greet service, helpful with unpacking car from street to apartment, exceptionally clean, spacious, well equipped. Really central location to the town, we walked everywhere all week and that was with a 5 &6 year old in tow! And views from the lounge that are simply stunning! I have fallen in love with Hondarribia and when I come back again I will certainly be staying in this apartment again. Thank you for your warm welcome and helping make our week a great stay. Highly recommended.

"Bel appartement,avec une vue magnifique sur la Rhune,la baie d''Hendaye et la côte Française.C''est formidable de prendre son petit déjeuner face à ce panarama.Le centre ville se situe juste derrière,et la vieille ville,pleine de charme,est facilement accessible.Un bateau vous mène à Hendaye.Et le topo,à la gare d''Hendaye,vous mène au coeur de San Sebastien.Tout est réuni pour un excellent séjour!!!!!"
