Fantastic Eclipse Getaway
I picked this place because it was in the zone of totality and I could watch the eclipse from the comfort of a hot tub instead of having to fight through traffic. Clouds unfortunately completely blocked the view but still had a great time. There were some minor maintenance issues like how the main bedroom door downstairs did not shut that should be fixed to improve other's experience but overall it was a lovely visit. When I was leaving I sent a message about possibly losing a necklace that they never responded to but they responded to messages while I was there fine. The bed is super comfortable! I'd go again.

Great for visiting Hunt Hallow ski hill.
Check in process was great. The house was warm and cozy. The kitchen was just the right size for a 4 person family. The cottage is on the older side but everything was clean and tidy. Water pressure was very low, but bathrooms where clean. Hot tub could have used a vacuuming, but it was nice to have it after skiing or spending time out doors. Owner and her husband were very accommodating and the chickens and other animals where very fun to watch.

Exactly what we wanted!
The house was a little hard to find in the dark, but other than that, it was everything we wanted for our stay! The home was clean and tidy, and offered exactly what we needed for a rural stay in the country. 10/10 - will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area.

Our Stay
The little place was rustic. Very nice inside and clean. Could do with somevweeding and simple landscape update but other than that we liked it. Glad to be left alone as we like to keep to ourselves but a small welcome note would of been nice!

The cottage was the perfect location for our ski race at Hunt Hollow. Cottage was clean. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was FANTASTIC! Cottage could use a little maintenance, but overall was a great stay! If you want to unplug and recharge, this is a perfect getaway!

Straight out of a Fairy Tale
Sheep, goats, free range chickens, hiking trails amidst clear streams, a witchy little kitchen garden. Cottage is darling and serviceable, however the this and that's are numerous. I was more amused by them, my friend, not so much. Unfortunately she drowned in the hot tub as life jackets were not provided.

Horrible property. Unkept and not at all what was advertised.
Pulled in to find that the yard was overgrown and the house was very worn. This was not at all like the pictures fearured as advertised. Felt dirt inside. No wifi. Luckily we were gone all day and only needed a place to sleep. The only winning feature was the hot tub.

Cute little cottage
We would definitely come and stay again. The cottage was clean and cozy. While the main house is close we definitely had privacy. The hosts were friendly. We loved the sunsets and the hottub was so relaxing after a day at the winery's. We enjoyed the baby goats and the pigs.

A little worn but comfortable
Overall we had a nice stay. Very reasonable price and the location was close to Naples which was fun to check out. Owner was kind and accommodating. Might be helpful for renters to know that the house is very close to the owners with the hot tub facing their front door. The hot tub was a big selling point for us, but was in need of a good cleaning. The owners responded to this concern, noting it was due to well water but the bubbles were yellow and the film so bad that it stained our suits. The house was nice, rustic, beds were comfortable, had all essentials.

Cute little cottage
This place was just big enough to accommodate 3 kids and 3 adults but small enough to be cozy. No TV (which is advertised) was such a nice change of pace and the kids loved the animals and playing soccer! Close to hiking and outside activities. Within a 20-30 min drive to larger towns and tucked away with beautiful views! Thanks again for a great stay :)

Nice Place To Stay
Price was great 👍 Somethings to note Owners house is very close to the property however they never bothered us Hot Tub needed a good cleaning and this was one of the reasons we chose this house If this is a perk to your property it should be spotless and ready to use Minor things that could be improved upon No upstairs garbage can anywhere No end tables in the Master Bedroom No hand towels for the bathrooms Outside light did not work Overall a nice place to stay for the money but if your looking for wineries and breweries close by be advised it’s a least a 20 minute drive

Could not be happier
Before booking, I knew this place would be a little remote for doing trips over toward Seneca Lake/Watkins Glen. What I wasn't prepared for was just how cozy and relaxing it was. Our children had a blast playing with the host's children, and I have nothing but great things to say about the hosts. They promptly repaired an issue with the hot tub and were very accommodating in every way. We comfortably slept 6 people (4 adults, two young children). My children, hopeless YouTube addicts, were not even bothered by the lack of wifi. That alone says a ton. If you are planning to book, be prepared for longer drives to the busy (tourist) areas of the Finger Lakes. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us, in fact quite the opposite. We loved everything about it and are already talking about when we can go back.

Peaceful & relaxing
My family desperately needed a little getaway this COVID summer and this was perfect. The cottage is bright & spacious and we had fun exploring the surrounding lakes & trails. The hot tub & fire pit were delightful. Kelly & Chris were very kind, helpful hosts. Added bonus that we got to see newborn piglets on our final morning! A great getaway.

Nice, cozy place, close to ski areas and many wineries and breweries
Nice, cozy property. The owners were very responsive! The home was literally about 2 minutes from Hunt Hollow Ski Club. It is also very close to Bristol Mountain and many area wineries and breweries. The hot tub was a very nice touch after a day of skiing.

Great Fall Getaway
Great experience staying in the countryside. Kelly was a very responsive host. Hot tub was a great way to unwind after a busy day in town. House was not as far away from hikes, breweries, wineries, etc as we expected. Would highly recommend this rental.

We had a wonderful time!!!
This property was perfect for our family. We had a really wonderful peaceful time there. My kids loved feeding the goats, watching the pigs and playing with the cat. We really enjoyed the hot tub and making a campfire. They had a climbing tree that my kids loved to climb. A big field where they played ball. The owners were really nice and gave us great suggestions for what to do with the family during the day!!

PERFECT/AMAZING
this place was very charming, beautiful views and it was clean no smelly candles or fragrance glade plug ins since I am highly sensitive to them. The hot tub was great to soak in under the stars with a glass of wine. The owner Kelly was extremely kind and any question I had she immediately responded too. I look forward to booking another trip here at some point.

Great short stay
I recently had a great short stay at Hunt Hollow along with my husband and our 2 year old son. Everything was just as it looks in the photos - a lovely quiet location and a nice house. My son especially enjoyed meeting the pigs, goats and chickens on the property and my husband and I especially enjoyed the hot tub! The house is comfortable and has everything we needed, it's just lacking a bit of 'luxury finish', for example there are no night stands and a lot of bare walls. Overall a great experience.

Just stayed for a quick overnight after a concert at a local winery. Worked perfect for the six of us. Enjoyed the nice weather on the deck and a board game around the table before bed.

Quaint Cozy Country House
We had a lovely stay here. The house sits on a serine pastoral setting with distant mountain views. We were here in late June and I have never seen so many fireflies in one location. It was amazing to see the millions of little green twinkling lights that filled the vast field across the road from the house. The owners were very friendly and welcoming in their communications. Also it was awesome to meet some of the goats, chickens and a very friendly cat that live here :) We did a driving tour from Ohio through New England and this was a perfect rest point between Burlington and Cleveland and it also gave us a chance to see some of the NY Finger Lakes.

This quiet little cabin was a great escape from the noise of the city
Quaint cottage provided a nice place for us to connect with family in the Finger Lake region. The home was in good working order - warm despite a sudden cold snap, with a well stocked kitchen. The upstairs bunk bed should be updated as the suspended spring base was noisy and uncomfortable for adults. Small repairs such as replacing burnt out lights, towel racks and toilet paper holders would do a lot for the overall impression. However, for the price, it was a lot of space to enjoy a weekend getaway. We enjoyed playing games at the table, relaxing in the living room and getting pizza from nearby Naples. Kelly was friendly and helpful - and the goats were adorable!!

The cottage is clean, cozy and comfortable, owner was friendly and kind.However, I do have some suggestions. 1. Replace burned out light bulbs 2. Window coverings on all windows would be appropriate to allow the guests privacy. 3. Fan/light in dining area was broken. You could not have light on without fan turning. 4. More lamps in living area. 5. I was told to keep my dog on a leash (I did) but had an unfortunate encounter with the owners dogs. Their dogs should be restrained or contained as well.

A great location in the western lakes area!
Perfect weekend getaway spot. The house was super-clean, and the owner was very responsive to communication. My only suggestions would be to provide soap/shampoo, and a small microwave in the kitchen would also be helpful.

Fun hobby farm cottage
This was a perfect get away cottage for our family. Our younger girls loved the interaction with the different farm animals and the owner’s family. Our hosts were very responsive to any requests we had. The cottage was simple and very clean. We enjoyed grilling several nights on the deck. Local area was beautiful.
