“Off grid getaway tucked deep in the redwoods— arrival itself is an adventure. The apartment is a quiet, peaceful nook with an eclectic touch. The grounds are highly explorable and our pup had a wonderful time. Wondering around and waking up next to the rushing Eel River was a beautiful experience. Great place to stay if your goal is to disconnect for a while. 10/10 will return. ”

“I was here for the Gimme Shelter Eighteenth Annual Kayak Gathering. The location was perfect. I used the oven to bake two native blackberry pies for the event potluck dinner. I parked my car with kayak on top in the provided parking area. It worked out well. I was able to rinse the salt water from my kayak gear with the host's permission after a successful (awesome) day fishing. I had a wonderful time.”

“Great location. Cul-de-sac was quiet and not crowded. Room for boat/trailer. View of the golf course and lots of deer sightings. Kitchen had coffee cups, but no other glassware for drinking. For cooking, only one skillet and one cooking pot. Needs more, or provide an inventory so folks know what to bring. Could've used a garden hose outside for washing fishing equipment and ice chests. Also noticed side yard had poison oak. Back sliding door difficult to close.”

“Older court style separated rooms but very well maintained. Gas, grocery and dining just across the street. The landscaping was very pretty and we used the gazebo just outside the room to relax with a glass of wine after a busy travel day. ”
